How to work edge stitches in stockinette stitch – Nordic knitting style
BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO:
We have worked a few cms of stockinette stitch where the edge stitches on each side are also worked in stocking stitch.
THE VIDEO SHOWS:
When working the edge stitch (= outermost stitch) in stockinette stitch, the stitch is knitted from the right side and purled from the wrong side.

Dear Pamela, RS = right side of the work, WS = wrong side of the work. Edge stitches are knitted when working on the right side of the work and purled when working on the wrong side of the work. Happy knitting!

11.12.2022 - 20:17Tengo dudas sobre el punto de orillo. Estoy haciendo el bolso Drops 109-27. En el video veo que tejen el primer punto LD en vuelta derecha y LR en vuelta revés. Es decir , no veo ninguna diferencia, se realiza todo en punto jersey. Si tejemos el 1r punto (de orillo) igual que el resto, por qué lo llamamos punto de orillo? ... yo tenía entendido que el punto de orillo no se tejía para q no se alarguen los lados . Me lo podéis aclarar para iniciar mi bolso de nuevo? Gracias

Hola Begoña, el punto orillo se remarca como un punto para posteriormente coser; es un punto adicional a los necesarios para el patrón. Para el bolso tienes 33 puntos, que son las medidas del bolso y 1 punto orillo a cada lado para la costura. Normalmente, este punto se trabaja en punto musgo (siempre de derecho), pero en este caso se puede trabajar en punto jersey, ya que el punto quedará oculto por la costura.

Hei Yvonne. I denne videoen strikkes kantmaskene rett fra retten og vrang fra vrangen (= kantene strikkes slik at det blir glattstrikk). Det står også i teksten under videoen. God Fornøyelse!

Bonjour Lucie, quand on tricote en jersey avec les m lis en jersey, il n'y aura pas de différence entre les m lis et la partie centrale car toutes les mailles sont tricotées dans le même point. Bon tricot!
07.08.2015 - 09:49J'appuie les commentaires d'auparavant, c'est beaucoup trop rapide, on ne peut le faire en même temps, faire une pause, nous donne pas la façon de le faire. Si nous pouvions ralentir le vidéo tout serait parfait. Bonne journée.

11.11.2012 - 14:19I teksten står der at kantmasken strikkes ret på vrangsiden og vang på retsiden - men i videoen er det da ret på retsiden og vang på vangsiden!???
