= Begin here Work 5 chain stitches and form a ring with 1 slip stitch in 1st chain stitch - see point on circle If you work at the back of the crochet hook the chain stitch will often be too tight. 1 chain stitch should be just as long as 1 double crochet/treble crochet/double treble crochet is wide. |

= BOBBLE: Remember COLOUR CHANGE and switch to colour off white before working the bobble. Work 4 treble crochets in stitch below - wait with last yarn over and pull through on every treble crochet (5 loops on hook), switch to the other colour on round and then pull yarn over through all loops on hook. Work 1 chain stitch that keeps the treble crochets together, push it a bit to pouf it up. On next round work only in the top of bobble, skip the chain stitch |
What does it mean symbols = 1 treble crochet in stitch below symbols = 1 double crochet in stitch below. What is the stitch below? Not the normal next stitch? Is this the one even previous to this?

Dear Mrs Araujo, this means you have to crochet the double crochet in one stitch (not between stitch, not around the stitch but in the stitch on previous round), ie just normally. This lesson might help you to understand how to read crochet diagrams. Happy crocheting!
23.03.2023 kl. 14:55Hi there, I think I am missing on how to increase in this pattern despite having read it 5 times...could you clarify?

Dear Mrs Araujo, the increases are shown in the diagrams, ie when 2 symbols are pointing towards the same stitch on previous round, this means you have to work 2 stitches in the same stitch. for ex. on 2nd round you will work 2 half-treble crochets (UK-English) in each treble crochet on previous round (= 24 half-treble crochets at the end of 2nd round). Happy crocheting!
