My brim is floppy-I can't achieve the stiffness to maintain the structure you show. My brim just hangs limply. My gauge is correct. How to troubleshoot?
25.04.2016 - 16:21DROPS Design answered:
Dear Deborah, check first your tension, if it is correct and tight enough, you can also starch the brim to give it correct shape. Happy crocheting!

I agree with Jennifer S, I think there is an error in the written part of the pattern on Round 1 of A.1 - the chart is correct -but in the written pattern there should be skip 3 tr at the start of the repeat sections, otherwise you don't get the space between the treble group and the single treble.

Dear Pauline, thanks for your feedback - this has been forwarded to our Designers. Thank you in advance for your patience. Happy crocheting!

I believe there is an error in the English version of the pattern Round 1 of A1. I think there is supposed to be skip 3 dc at the end of the repeat between the * and * otherwise you would start the next DC-Group in the stitch right after the 1DC 1Ch

In the A1 section Pattern says " in next doc, ch 1" how do you do a ch IN a doc?
16.04.2016 - 08:09DROPS Design answered:
Dear Deborah, in A.1, round 1, you work *1 dc-group in next ch, then ch 1, skip next 3 dc, work 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, skip nect 3 dc* and repeat from *-* all the round. The "ch 1" will be between each st/group of st above the 3 dc skipped. Happy crocheting!

The pattern says it makes a hat with a 48 cm circumference. That seems very small as my head is 58 cms. Is it supposed to sit very high on the head, or does it stretch, or do I and my friend have bizarrely large heads?
09.03.2016 - 14:03DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Platt, this hat is only available in this size, but you are welcome to adjust it to your own size - your DROPS store will assist you for any individual help, even per mail or telephone. Happy crocheting!

14.06.2015 - 21:15DROPS Design answered:
Hoi Christine.

Should the brim be weavy or flat (smoothy) like I see in pic? I got too weavy one, did all to instruction. Thank you.
26.05.2015 - 21:53DROPS Design answered:
Dear Martyna, brim should be rather flat, remember to check and keep your tension while crocheting the brim. Happy crocheting!

Hola.
