I have knitted m.1a and m1b, I have ended up with twice the number of stitches the pattern indicates. I cannot figure out what I did wrong, please help.

Dear Shirley, you should have 11 sts in each M.1A when starting M.1B, then work every lace round in M.1B as follows: (slip 1 as if to K, K1, psso) twice, *YO, K1*, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, YO, K2 tog twice = you dec 4 sts compensated with 4 YOs, number of sts should be constant. Inserting a marker between each repeat may help to check number of sts. Happy knitting!

I am new at knitting, please help, if i want to make a small size, exactly which rows i would have to knit from diagram M.2?thanks
04.12.2012 - 09:33DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Mazhar, diagram M.2 for size S it the one at the very bottom left, you have to work the whole diagram from the bottom corner at the right side to the arrow above, ie stop 4 rows before the end of the diagram. Happy knitting!

Beautiful yoke! Will make this as a long-sleeved cardigan (stockinette arms, lace wrist edges), with the bottom just below the bust, very fitted.

Hi in the chart it says "work 2 stitches as one" do you mean knit two together?! Thanks
31.07.2012 - 23:17DROPS Design answered:
It is saying "work 2 sts in 1 st " - when you work 2 sts into 1 st it means you increase one stitch. Most common method is to work first in front loop and then in back loop of the same stitch.

Bra.
