|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Garter st, back and forth on needle: K all rows. Pattern: See diagram M.1 to M.4. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS. Note! First row in M.1 = WS. Decreasing tip (applies to front piece): Make all dec from RS inside 22 sts. Dec as follows after 22 sts: P2 tog into back of st. Dec as follows before 22 sts: P2 tog. Note! Because of the decreases number of sts will not fit M.1. P sts not fitting into pattern from RS and K from WS. Buttonholes: Make buttonholes on right front piece. 1 buttonhole = cast off 4th st from mid front, cast on 1 new st on return row. Make buttonholes when piece measures: Size S: 10, 18, 26, 34 and 42 cm. Size M: 10, 19, 28, 37 and 45 cm. Size L: 10, 19, 28, 37 and 46 cm. Size XL: 10, 18, 26, 34, 42 and 49 cm. Size XXL: 10, 19, 28, 37, 45 and 52 cm. Size XXXL: 10, 19, 28, 37, 46 and 55 cm. Back piece: Worked back and forth on needle. Cast on 97-104-110-119-130-139 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on needle size 4.5 mm. Work 4 rows garter st – see above -and continue in reverse stocking st. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 6 cm dec 1 st each side on every 3.5-3.5-3.5-3.5-4-4 cm a total of 10 times = 77-84-90-99-110-119 sts. When piece measures 42-43-44-45-46-47 cm – adjust so that next row is from RS – work 5 rows garter st, at the same time on first row adjust number of sts to 78-86-90-98-110-118. Continue as follows from WS: 1 edge st, M.1 on the next 76-84-88-96-108-116 sts and finish with 1 edge st. When piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm cast off for armhole each side on every other row: 4 sts (1 repeat) a total of 1-2-2-3-4-5 times (first time incl edge st in dec) = 68-68-72-72-76-76 sts. When piece measures 68-71-74-77-80-83 cm work garter st on the middle 36-36-40-40-44-44 sts, work remaining st as before. When piece measures 70-73-76-79-82-85 cm cast off the middle 20-20-24-24-28-28 sts for neck = 24 sts left on each shoulder. Continue with 8 garter sts towards neckline and cast off when piece measures 72-75-78-81-84-87 cm Right front piece: Cast on 61-64-67-72-77-82 sts (includes 1 edge st at side and 8 front band sts towards mid front) on needle size 4.5 mm. Work 4 rows garter st. Continue as follows from RS: 8 front band sts in garter st until finished measurements, P4, M.4 (= 6 sts), P 8-10-11-14-16-19, M.2 (= 16 sts), P 18-19-21-23-26-28, 1 edge st. Remember buttonholes! Now read all of the following section before continuing! After 1 vertical repeat of M.2, continue in M.3 above M.2. Repeat M.3 until piece measures 42-43-44-45-46-47 cm. NB! When you cannot fit in a full vertical repeat of M.3, only work and repeat the top 6 rows in diagram. At the same time when piece measures 6 cm dec at side as described for back piece = 51-54-57-62-67-72 sts. When piece measures 42-43-44-45-46-47 cm, adjust so that next row is from RS, work 5 rows garter st, but work 22 sts towards mid front as before. At the same time adjust number of sts to 51-55-59-63-67-71 on the first row in garter st (do not adjust on the 22 sts towards mid front). Continue as follows from WS: 1 edge st, M.1 on the next 28-32-36-40-44-48 sts, K4, M.4, K4, 8 garter sts (front band). When piece measures 43-46-47-50-53-56 cm dec 1 st to shape the neckline on every cm a total of 22-22-26-26-26-26 times – see Decreasing tip! At the same time when piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm cast off for armhole at side as described for back piece = 24 sts left on shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 72-75-78-81-84-87 cm. Left front piece: Cast on and work like right front piece, but mirrored. Work first pattern row as follows from RS: 1 edge st, P 18-19-21-23-26-28, M.2 (= 16 sts), P 8-10-11-14-16-19, M.4 (= 6 sts), P4, 8 front band sts in garter st. Do not make buttonholes! Sleeve: Cast on 62-66-70-74-78-82 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on needle size 4.5 mm. Work 5 rows garter st and continue in M.1 with 1 edge st each side. First row = WS. When piece measures 21-21-20-19-18-17 cm (less on the larger sizes because of longer sleeve cap and wider shoulder) dec to shape the sleeve cap each side on every other row. NB! Because of the decreases the number of sts will not fit M.1. P sts not fitting into pattern from RS and K from WS. Dec as follows: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 3-3-3-4-4-4 times, 1 st 0-1-2-2-3-5 times and then 2 sts each side until piece measures 27-28-28-29-29-30 cm. Now cast off 3 sts 1 time each side and cast off remaining sts. Piece measures approx 28-29-29-30-30-31 cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Set in sleeves and sew side and sleeve seams inside 1 edge st. Sew on buttons. |
