Just finishing off a sleeve. Am knitting size M. Can u pls tell me how many stitches are left to cast off in the very last row? Many thanks
18.08.2020 - 10:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Sawley, the number of remaining stitches will depend on your tension in height - make sure to cast off the same number of times the 2 sts on each side until sleeve measurese 55 cm then cast off 3 sts on each side. Happy knitting!

I'm having trouble completing the back piece. After casting off 19 st in the middle I'm left with 15 st each side. How do I 'complete each shoulder separately ' b4 casting off?? Help! Thnx
31.07.2020 - 03:28DROPS Design answered:
Dear Liz, work the first shoulder, cast off the next 19 sts for neck and finish the row =2nd shoulder. Turn and work 2nd shoulder from WS, turn and cast off at the beg of every row from neck (towards armhole) as stated for your size, continue until piece measures 75-77 cm, decrease 3 sts over M.1 and cast off. Work now stitches for first shoulder the same way (= cast off at the beg of every row from the neck towards armhole). Happy knitting!

Just started this project. Where is row 2 please for the front! Repeating the same row (size M) will not result in a rib for the band section.
04.07.2020 - 05:04DROPS Design answered:
Dear Liz, if by "band section" you mean ribbing at the bottom, you should knit the second row "covered", as the stitches show themselves, in other words purl the stitches that were knitted and kint the stitches that were knitted in the previous row. Happy Knittong!

Merci, bon tricot!

When piece measures 48-47-46-45-44-43 cm (less for the larger sizes because of longer sleeve cap and wider shoulder) cast off for sleeve cap each side at the beg of every row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 1-2-2-3-4-5 times, then 2 sts each side until piece measures 55 cm, now cast off 3 sts 1 time each side and cast off remaining sts.
