Dejlig detalje med de korte ærmer. Håber man kan strikke den i forholdsvis billig garn og i en stor størrelse.

Normally, I wouldn't take the time to knit a tunic or dress when sewing one is so much faster - but this is darling

Darling design...could you include an option for dress length, also?? The pleats are just begging to go places...

This is so "in" now. Our grand daughter would love it. A dress with tights or a top over slacks. Beautiful

Garter st, back and forth on needle: K all rows. Decreasing tip: Dec 1 st by K 2 tog in K-sections and P2 tog in P-sections. Pattern: See diagram M.1, M.2, and M.3. Diagram shows the pattern from RS. Front piece: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 114-120-128-140-148-156 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on circular needle size 5 mm with 2 threads Alpaca. Work 6 rows garter st – see above – and now continue as follows from RS: 1 edge st, K 29-32-36-38-42-46 sts, P 12 sts, K 30-30-30-38-38-38 sts, P 12 sts , K 29-32-36-38-42-46 sts, 1 edge st. Continue with K over K and P over P. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 10 cm dec 6 sts on next row by dec 1 st at the beg and end of the 2 P-sections and the middle K-section - see Decreasing tip! Repeat the dec when piece measures 20, 30 and 40 cm = 90-96-104-116-124-132 sts (there are now 4 P sts in each P-section and 22-22-22-30-30-30 K sts in the middle K-section). When piece measures 46 cm work next row as follows from RS: 1 edge st, P 6-9-13-11-15-19 sts, M.1 on 80-80-80-100-100-100 sts, P 2-5-9-5-9-13 sts and 1 edge st = 106-112-120-136-144-152 sts. Work return row with K over K and P over P. Now continue in cable pattern as follows from RS: 1 edge st, P 6-9-13-9-13-17 sts, M.2 on the next 48-48-48-60-60-60 sts, M.3 on the next 48-48-48-60-60-60 sts and finish with P 2-5-9-5-9-13 sts and 1 edge st. Continue in pattern like this. When piece measures 57-58-59-60-61-62 cm cast off for armhole each side at the beg of every row: 4 sts 1-1-1-2-2-2 times, 2 sts 0-1-2-3-1-3 times and 1 st 2-2-3-3-3-3 times = 94-96-98-102-118-118 sts. Continue in pattern with 1 edge st each side. When piece measures approx 66-68-70-72-74-76 cm (adjust to after 1 row with cables) slip the middle 28 sts on a stitch holder and complete each shoulder separately. Cast off to shape the neckline towards mid front at the beg of every row: 2 sts 4-4-4-5-5-5 times = 25-26-27-27-35-35 sts left on each shoulder. When piece measures 76-78-80-82-84-86 cm work all K sts over each cable tog 2 by 2 = 17-18-19-19-23-23 sts. On next row cast off remaining sts. Back piece: Cast on and work like front piece. Cast off for armhole as described for front piece and continue until piece measures approx 74-76-78-80-82-84 cm (adjust to after a row with cables). Now slip the middle 40-40-40-44-44-44 sts on a stitch holder for neck and complete each shoulder separately. Cast off 2 sts on neckline on next row = 25-26-27-27-35-35 sts left on each shoulder. When piece measures 76-78-80-82-84-86 cm work all K sts over each cable tog 2 by 2 = 17-18-19-19-23-23 sts. Cast off remaining sts on next row. Sleeve: Worked back and forth on needle. Cast on 62-68-68-74-74-80 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) with 2 threads Alpaca on circular needle size 4.5 mm. Work 2 rows stocking st and continue in rib, K3/P3 with 1 edge st each side. When piece measures 3 cm change to needle size 5 mm. Continue in reverse stocking st, at the same time dec 10-11-11-12-12-15 sts evenly on first row = 52-57-57-62-62-65 sts. When piece measures 5-5-5-5-4-4 cm inc 1 st each side on every 5-5-3-3-1.5-1 cm a total of 3-3-4-4-7-8 times = 58-63-65-70-76-81 sts. When piece measures 19-18-17-16-15-14 cm – less for the larger sizes because of longer sleeve cap and wider shoulders – cast off for sleeve cap each side at the beg of every row: 4 sts 1 time, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 0-1-2-3-4-5 times, then 2 sts each side until piece measures 25 cm, now cast off 3 sts 1 time each side and cast off remaining sts. Sleeve measures approx 26 cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Neckline: Pick up approx 96 to 108 sts (incl sts from stitch holders, no of sts should be divisible by 6) with 2 threads on circular needle size 4.5 mm. K 1 round, P 1 round and continue in rib, K3/P3. Cast off when neckline measures 3 cm. Set in sleeves, sew sleeve and side seams inside 1 edge st. |
