Hei, kun hihan pituus on 41 cm, työ jaetaan keskeltä hihan alta ja sitten jatketaan neulomista tasona.

Hej!

Bonjour.

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE TIP (for sleeves): Increase by making 1 yarn over on each side of the marker-thread + 1 stitch on each side. On the next round work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The body is worked in the round with circular needle, bottom up, as far as the armholes. The piece is then divided and the front and back pieces are finished separately. The sleeves are worked in the round bottom up, with double pointed needles/short circular needle. The sleeve cap is finished back and forth. The piece is assembled and the neck worked to finish. BODY: Cast on 124-132-136-140-148-156 stitches with circular needle size 4.5 mm and DROPS Melody. Work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2) for 6 cm. Change to circular needle size 6 mm. Knit 1 round and decrease 24-24-24-24-24-28 stitches evenly spaced = 100-108-112-116-124-128 stitches. Work stocking stitch. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When the piece measures 21-24-27-30-31-32 cm, divide for the front and back pieces as follows: Cast off the first 10-12-12-10-12-10 stitches, work the next 40-42-44-48-50-54 stitches and place them on a thread (front piece), cast off the next 10-12-12-10-12-10 stitches and work the last 40-42-44-48-50-54 stitches (back piece). BACK PIECE: Continue with stocking stitch back and forth. When the piece measures 32-36-40-44-46-48 cm, cast off the middle 14-16-18-20-20-20 stitches for the neck and finish each shoulder separately. On the next row from the neck cast off 1 stitch = 12-12-12-13-14-16 stitches on the shoulder. Cast off when the piece measures 34-38-42-46-48-50 cm. Work the other shoulder in the same way. FRONT PIECE: Place the stitches from the thread on circular needle size 6 mm = 40-42-44-48-50-54. Continue with stocking stitch back and forth until the piece measures 28-32-36-40-42-44 cm. Place the middle 8-10-12-14-14-14 stitches on a thread for the neck and finish each shoulder separately. Cast off on each row from the neck: 2 stitches 1 time and 1 stitch 2 times = 12-12-12-13-14-16 stitches on the shoulder. Cast off when the piece measures 34-38-42-46-48-50 cm. Work the other shoulder in the same way. SLEEVES: Cast on 32-32-36-36-40-40 stitches with double pointed needles size 4.5 mm. Knit 1 round then work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2) for 6 cm. Change to double pointed needles size 6 mm, knit 1 round and decrease 6-4-6-6-8-6 stitches evenly spaced = 26-28-30-30-32-34 stitches. Insert a marker-thread at the beginning of the round = mid-under sleeve. Work stocking stitch. When the piece measures 8 cm increase 1 stitch on each side of the marker-thread – read INCREASE TIP. Increase like this every 3-3-4-4-4-5 cm a total of 5-6-6-7-8-8 times = 36-40-42-44-48-50 stitches. When the sleeve measures 24-29-34-37-41-49 cm work the sleeve cap back and forth (from the marker-thread) for 4 cm. Cast off. Work the other sleeve in the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams. Sew the sleeve cap to the armhole - see sketch. NECK: Use short circular needle size 4.5 mm. Knit up 56 to 72 stitches around the neck. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 9 cm. Cast off. Fold the neck double to the inside and fasten with a couple of stitches. |
