Bon crochet!

Thank you for the answer, but the linked site doesn't answer my questions. And I bought the wool at an internet shop (wool warehouse), so I can't really ask them either. Could you maybe look at my questions again? Thank you! Merry Christmas :)
15.12.2015 - 15:57DROPS Design answered:
Dear Marlen, do avoid colour run different colours should be washed separately. It is okay to wash them with some other similar colour items.

Just a question regarding the felting process: Do I wash one cushion at a time or could I throw two cushions (with different colours) in the washing mashine? And can I add other stuff as well or should the cushion be the only thing in the washing mashine besides the towel. Thank you.
10.12.2015 - 14:21DROPS Design answered:
Dear Marlen, read more about felting here and remember you will get individual help & assistance from your DROPS store. Happy felting!

Hi! I was trying to find a video or written pattern for these. I don't know how to read diagrams very well?
04.08.2014 - 01:22DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Key, in the diagram 1 st is represented by 1 symbol - see tab "videos" to learn more about the sts , work in the round following A.1 (beg of round) and then repeat A.2 around. Happy crocheting!

CROCHET INFO: Replace first dc at beg of every dc round with 1 ch. Replace first dtr at beg of every dtr round with 4 ch. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 and A.2. ---------------------------------------------------------- SMALL SEATING PAD: Work 4 ch with 2 strands Andes on hook size 9 mm and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: Work 10 dc in ch-ring. ROUND 2: Work 2 dtr in every dc = 20 dtr – READ CROCHET INFO! Then continue pattern according to diagram A.1. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Repeat repetition the entire round (= 10 repetitions in total). When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, the seating pad is done. Piece measures approx. 38 cm in diameter. Fasten off. LARGE SEATING PAD: Work 5 ch with 2 strands Andes on hook size 9 mm and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: Work 12 dc in ch-ring. ROUND 2: Work 2 dtr in every dc = 24 dtr – READ CROCHET INFO! Then continue pattern according to diagram A.2. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Repeat repetition the entire round (= 6 repetitions in total). When A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, the seating pad is done. Piece measures approx. 51 cm in diameter. Fasten off. FELTING: Place the seating pad in the washing machine with a detergent without enzymes and optical bleach. Wash at 40 degrees with normal spin but no pre-wash. After wash shape the seating pad to the right size while still wet and leave to dry flat. At subsequent wash, wash the seating pad at regular wool programme. AFTER FELTING: If the piece is not felted enough and is too big: Wash the piece one more time in the washing machine while it is still wet add a terry towel that measures approx. 50 x 70 cm - NOTE: Do not use a short program. If the piece has been felted too much and is too small: While the piece is still wet stretch it to the correct measurements, if the piece is dry, make sure to soak it first. Remember: All subsequent washes are as a normal wool garment. |
