Buon lavoro!

A nahozené oko v rubové řadě plést obrace?

Bon tricot!

INFORMATION FOR PATTERN: GARTER STITCH (back and forth): 1 ridge = knit 2 rows. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.8. Diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from the right side. Row 1 = from right side. CAST-OFF TIP: To avoid a tight cast-off edge you may use a needle ½ size larger. ---------------------------------------------------------- SHAWL: Worked back and forth on circular needle, top down. Cast on 5 stitches on circular needle size 3 mm with BabyAlpaca Silk. Work pattern according to diagram A.1 - read PATTERN above. When entire diagram A.1 has been worked vertically, there are 17 stitches on row. WORK DIAGRAM A.2 AS FOLLOWS: Work 3 edge stitches in GARTER STITCH - see explanation above, A.2 over 5 stitches, 1 stitch in stocking stitch (= middle stitch), A.2 over 5 stitches and 3 edge stitches in garter stitch. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When diagram has been worked vertically, there are 73 stitches on row. WORK DIAGRAMS A.3-A.5 AS FOLLOWS: Work 3 edge stitches in garter stitch, A.3 over 2 stitches, A.4 over 28 stitches (= 2 repetitions of 14 stitches), A.5 over 3 stitches, 1 stitch in stocking stitch (= middle stitch), A.3 over 2 stitches, A.4 over 28 stitches (= 2 repetitions of 14 stitches), A.5 over 3 stitches and 3 edge stitches in garter stitch. When diagrams have been worked vertically, there are 129 stitches on row. Continue to work according to diagrams with 3 edge stitches in garter stitch in each side (there is room for 1 repetition more of A.4 next to A.3 and A.5). Repeat diagrams like this: 2nd time: A.3, A.4 x 4, A.5, middle stitch, A.3, A.4 x 4, A.5 = 185 stitches. 3rd time: A.3, A.4 x 6, A.5, middle stitch, A.3, A.4 x 6, A.5 = 241 stitches. 4th time: A.3, A.4 x 8, A.5, middle stitch, A.3, A.4 x 8, A.5 = 297 stitches. Continue like this the same way (i.e. increase 56 stitches every time A.3 to A.5 have been worked vertically) until shawl measures approx. 67 cm measured along middle stitch - adjuster after 1 whole repetition vertically. WORK DIAGRAMS A.6-A.8 AS FOLLOWS: Then work next row as follows: 3 edge stitches in garter stitch, A.6 over 2 stitches, repeat A.7 until 3 stitches remain before middle stitch, A.8 over 3 stitches, middle stitch, A.6 over 2 stitches, repeat A.7 until 6 stitches remain on needle, A.8 over 3 stitches and 3 edge stitches in garter stitch. Continue until diagrams have been worked vertically. Work 2 ridges and cast off - read CAST-OFF TIP above. |
