Vielen Dank.

Knitted poncho with lace pattern in borders in DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk. Size: S - XXXL
DROPS 178-60 |
|||||||||||||||||||
GARTER STITCH (back and forth): 1 ridge = knit 2 rows. DECREASE/INCREASE TIP: To calculate how to decrease/increase evenly, use the total number of stitches on row (e.g. 80 stitches), minus edge stitches (e.g. 6 stitches) and divide the remaining stitches by number of decreases/increases to be done (e.g. 7) = 10.6. In this example work alternately every 9th and 10th stitch and every 10th and 11th stitch together or increase alternately after approx. every 10th and 11th stitch (increase 1 stitch by making 1 yarn over, on next row knit yarn over twisted to avoid holes). Do not increase/decrease over edge stitches. PATTERN: See diagram A.1. Diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from the right side. ---------------------------------------------------------- PONCHO: Worked back and forth on a circular needle to make room for all the stitches. Cast on 80-92-104 stitches on circular needle size 4.5 mm with Brushed Alpaca Silk. Work 3 ridges in GARTER STITCH - see explanation above. AT THE SAME TIME on last row decrease 7 stitches evenly - READ DECREASE/INCREASE TIP = 73-85-97 stitches. Switch to circular needle size 5 mm and work next row from right side as follows: 3 edge stitches in garter stitch, work A.1A until 4 stitches remain on row (= 11-13-15 repetitions of 6 stitches), work A.1B (= 1 stitch) and finish with 3 edge stitches in garter stitch. Continue A.1 like this with 3 edge stitches in garter stitch in each side. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION When piece measures 127-135-150 cm (finish after a row worked from wrong side), switch to circular needle size 4.5 mm. Work 3 ridges and increase AT THE SAME TIME 7 stitches evenly on first row = 80-92-104 stitches. After ridges cast off with knit from right side. ASSEMBLY: Place one long side against one short side and sew tog (opposite long side now forms a tip mid front). |
