Bon tricot !

Knitted DROPS neck warmer and hat in "Polaris".
DROPS 140-45 |

PATTERN: See diagram A.1. Diagram shows all rows in pattern from RS. TIP FOR SWITCHING THREADS: When switching ball with Polaris, split the old thread in two on the last 15 cm – cut off one part, do the same on the new thread. Place the first and last 15 cm on top of each other so that the yarn is the normal thickness and continue to work – this is done to make the thread switch invisible in the yarn. ---------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Worked back and forth on needle. READ TIP FOR SWITCHING THREADS! Cast on 34-38 sts on needle size 12 mm with Polaris (let the thread end be approx. 50 cm for sewing the hat tog when finished). Work as follows: 1 edge st in stocking st, * K 2, P 2 *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 edge st in stocking st. When piece measures 6 cm, continue in stocking st. Continue like this until piece measures 22-24 cm. Now insert 6 markers in the piece - from RS. Insert first marker after 4-5 sts, then insert the markers 6 sts apart (= 0-3 sts after last marker). Then work in stocking st. AT THE SAME TIME on every row from RS, dec 1 st on the right side of every marker by K 2 tog (= 6 dec). Repeat dec a total of 3 times = 16-20 sts on needle. K 1 row from WS. Piece measures approx. 26-28 cm. On next row from RS, work all sts tog 2 by 2 = 8-10 sts. Cut the thread and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. Sew hat tog in outer loop of edge sts to avoid a chunky seam. ---------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER: READ TIP FOR SWITCHING THREADS! Worked in the round. Cast on 48 sts on circular needle size 15 mm with Polaris. K 6 rounds, then work according to diagram A.1. When piece measures 20 cm, then work rib K 2/P 2. Continue like this until piece measures 30 cm – cast off with K. |
