What in the world does this mean?! Continue to work 1 hdc in every hdc while AT THE SAME TIME in SIZE S/M dec 1 hdc on 1st round... is this meant to be done right after round one when you've accumulated the 112 rounds?
14.09.2024 - 13:10DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Zaddack, after you have increased 7 sts on every round until you get 105 sts, work the next round with 1 hdc in each hdc decreasing 1 stitch on the first round so that you get now 104 hdc; now continue working with 1 hdc in each of the 104 hdc in the round unit piece measures 11 cm from beg.Happy crocheting!

I'm so confused!!! I'm not sure which stitch pattern belongs to which round and their are extra stitch seemingly included with no description of when or where they are meant to be in the pattern...
14.09.2024 - 13:08DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Zaddack, you first crochet 14 half double crochet (US-English) in the chain ring; then increase 7 sts on every round until you get 105 or 112 hdc (see size); then work 1 hdc in each hdc until requested height increasing then 1 st on first round; then work fan pattern as explained in the written pattern (repeat from *to* starting and ending the rounds as explained before/after). Hope it can help. Happy crocheting!

BRIM: ROUND 1: * 1 htr in each of the first 3 sts, 2 htr in next st *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 130-140 htr. Can you please explain this row, should I be doing 1 htr into each chain or each chain space? Thank you
02.07.2020 - 13:11DROPS Design answered:
Dear Jacqueline, at the end of edges, you have 104-112 htr, you then work the first round on brim increasing 1 stitch in every 4th stitch = work (1 htr in each of the first 3 sts, 2 htr in next htr), repeat from (to) all the round = you increase 26-28 sts. Happy crocheting!

Hei Torild. Det kommer an på hvilken garn du liker best. Sjekk garnkalkulatoren under oppskriften for å få diverse garn alternativ. DROPS Belle er det eneste garnet vi har som innholder Lin, og som vil passe fint til denne hatten. DROPS Belle 53% Bomull, 33% Viscose, 14% Lin. mvh DROPS design

What does the following instruction mean ? "Continue to work 1 htr in every st until piece measures approx. 22-25 cm from mid and down." You mean from the top of the hat to the previous instance before knitting the brim ?
25.10.2018 - 06:55DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Pereira, the 22-25 cm are measured from first round on top of hat. Happy crocheting!

NOTE: When working htr, work in back loop of st (not through both loops of st). DECREASE TIP: Dec 1 htr by working 1 htr but wait with last YO and last pull through (=3 sts on hook), then work next htr but on last YO and pull through pull thread through all 5 sts on hook = 1 htr dec. FAN PATTERN: ROUND 1: 1 ch, (= 1 dc), * 4 ch, skip 3 sts, 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 4 ch, skip 3 sts and 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 26-28 ch-loops. ROUND 2: Work sl st in the middle of first ch-loop, 3 ch (= 1 tr), * 4 tr + 2 ch + 4 tr in next ch-loop, 1 tr in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-* until 1 ch-loop remain and finish with 4 tr + 2 ch + 4 tr in last ch-loop and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 13-14 fans. Crochet 5 ch on hook size 3 mm with Lin and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: READ CROCHET INFO! Work 14 htr in the ch-ring. ROUND 2: * 1 htr in first st, 2 htr in next st *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 21 htr. ROUND 3: * 1 htr in each of the first 2 sts, 2 htr in next st *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 28 htr. ROUND 4: * 1 htr in each of the first 3 sts, 2 htr in next st *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 35 htr. Continue inc like this (= inc 7 htr on every round) until there are 105-112 htr on the round (i.e. so that for every round 1 htr more is worked between every 1 htr inc). Continue to work 1 htr in every htr while AT THE SAME TIME in SIZE S/M dec 1 htr on 1st round - READ DECREASE TIP = 104-112 htr. When piece measures 11-13 cm from mid down, work FAN PATTERN - see explanation above. After Fan pattern there are 26-28 ch-loops on the round and the piece measures approx. 17-19 cm from mid and down. Work next round as follows: 2 ch (= 1 htr), * 3 htr in next ch-loop, 1 htr in dc, 3 htr in next ch-loop, 1 htr in next tr *, repeat from *-* until 1 ch-loop remain and finish with 3 htr in ch-loop and 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round = 104-112 htr on the round. BRIM: ROUND 1: * 1 htr in each of the first 3 sts, 2 htr in next st *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 130-140 htr. ROUND 2: 1 htr in every st. ROUND 3: * 1 htr in each of the first 4 sts, 2 htr in next st *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 156-168 htr. Continue to work 1 htr in every st until piece measures approx. 22-25 cm from mid and down. SIZE S/M: Work 1 round with htr while AT THE SAME TIME inc 4 htr evenly = 160 htr. Continue to work a final border with fan pattern as follows: 1 ch (= 1 dc), * skip 3 sts, 4 tr + 2 ch + 4 tr in next st, skip 3 sts, 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-* until 7 sts remain, skip 3 sts, 4 tr + 2 ch + 4 tr in next st, skip 3 sts and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round. |
