At beg of each round with dc, replace first dc with 1 ch and finish the round with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round. 1 TR-GROUP (4 TR TOG): Crochet 4 tr tog into 1 tr as follows: Work 1 tr but wait to pull through the last loop (= 2 sts on hook), work 1 more tr but wait to pull through the last loop (= 3 sts on hook), work 1 more tr but wait to pull through the last loop (= 4 sts on hook), work 1 more tr but when pulling through the last loop pull through all 5 sts on hook. ROUND 7: Work 1 tr-group in each ch-loop and 2 ch between each = 32 tr-groups with 2 ch between each. SIZE M/L - ROUND 8: Work 1 tr-group in each ch-loop and 2 ch between each tr-group the entire round, but between every 16th ch-loop crochet 2 tr-groups (with 2 ch between each) = 34 tr-group with 2 ch between each. BOTH SIZES: = 32-34 tr-groups. Continue in the round with 1 tr-group in each ch-loop and 2 ch between each tr-group until piece measures 16-18cm from the middle and down. WORK NEXT ROUND AS FOLLOWS: REMEMBER CROCHET INFO: Work 2 dc in each ch-loop and 1 dc at the top of every tr-group the entire round = 96-102 dc. Work 1 round dc AT THE SAME TIME inc 0-2 dc evenly = 96-104 dc. Continue to crochet the brim as follows: NOTE! REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! ROUND 1: Work 1 dc in every dc, at the same time inc 8 dc evenly, i.e. work 2 dc in every 12th-13th dc = 104-112 dc. ROUND 2: Work 1 dc in every dc, at the same time inc 4 dc evenly, i.e. work 2 dc in every 26th-28th dc = 108-116 dc. ROUND 3- 5: Work 1 dc in every dc, at the same time inc 4 dc evenly on every round = 120-128 dc - NOTE: The inc are on top of each other on every round, i.e. work 1 more dc fore every round before inc 1 dc. ROUND 6- 13: Work 1 dc in each dc = 120-128 dc. ROUND 14: Work 1 dc in every dc, at the same time inc 15-16 dc evenly, i.e. work 2 dc in every 8th-8th dc = 135-144 dc. ROUND 15- 16: Work 1 dc in each dc = 135-144 dc. ROUND 17: Work 1 dc in every dc, at the same time dec 5-4 dc evenly, i.e. work every 26th and 27th dc tog in Size S/M and work every 35th and 36th dc tog in Size M/L - SEE EXPLANATION ABOVE = 130-140 dc. ROUND 18- 22: Work 1 dc in each dc = 130-140 dc. Cut and fasten the thread. CROCHET FLOWER FOR DECORATION: Crochet 7 ch on hook size 3mm with Lin and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 3 ch (= 1 tr), 2 tr in ch-ring, * 6 ch, 1 dc in last tr made, 3 tr in ch-ring *, repeat from *-* a total of 6 times and finish with 6 ch and 1 sl st in third ch from beg of round = 7 ch-loops with 3 tr between each. Cut and fasten the thread. ROUND 2: Work 1 dc in first dc, * 12 tr in ch-loop, skip 1 tr, 1 dc in next tr, skip 1 tr *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. Cut and fasten the thread. Fold the brim upwards and fasten the flower by sewing through both layers. |
