Also mit 2 Fäden stricken? Die Sky ist ja viel dicker.....
22.03.2019 - 07:23DROPS Design answered:

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE TIP (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase evenly, count the total number of stitches on the needle (e.g. 96 stitches) and divide by the number of increases to be made (e.g. 8) = 12. In this example, increase by making 1 yarn over after each 12th stitch. On the next round knit the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. STRIPES: 6½-7-7-7-7½-8 cm with light beige Sky 2½-2½-2½-3-3-3 cm with old pink Kid-Silk 6½-7-7-7-7½-8 cm with white Sky 2½-2½-2½-3-3-3 cm with light beige Kid-Silk 6½-7-7-7-7½-8 cm with light beige Sky 2½-2½-2½-3-3-3 cm with light beige Kid-Silk 6½-7-7-7-7½-8 cm with light lilac Sky 2½-2½-2½-3-3-3 cm with old pink Kid-Silk Then work with light beige Sky to finished length. RAGLAN: Increase to raglan in each transition between body and sleeves as follows: Work until there is 1 stitch left before marker thread, 1 yarn over, knit 2 (marker thread sits between these 2 stitches), 1 yarn over (= 2 stitches increased). On the next round knit the yarn overs to leave holes. Then continue working the new stitches in stocking stitch. There is a total of 8 stitches increased on each increase-round. DECREASE TIP (for sleeve): Decrease 1 stitch on each side of the marker thread as follows: Work until there are 3 stitches left before the marker thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker thread sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Yoke and body are worked in the round with circular needle from mid back, top down. Sleeves are worked in the round with short circular needle/double pointed needles, top down. The whole piece is worked in stocking stitch with stripes and ribbed edges. YOKE: Cast on 96-100-104-112-116-120 stitches with circular needle size 3.5 mm and light beige Sky. Knit 1 round. Then work rib (= knit 2, purl 2) for 2 cm. Change to circular needle size 4.5 mm and knit 1 round where you increase 8-12-16-12-16-20 stitches evenly spaced – read INCREASE TIP = 104-112-120-124-132-140 stitches. Work the next round and, at the same time, insert 4 marker threads as follows: Knit 18-20-22-23-25-27 stitches (= half back piece), insert first marker thread here, knit 16 (= sleeve), insert second marker thread here, knit 36-40-44-46-50-54 (= front piece), insert third marker thread here, knit 16 (= sleeve), insert fourth marker thread here and knit the remaining 18-20-22-23-25-27 stitches (= half back piece). Continue with stocking stitch and STRIPES – read description above, AT THE SAME TIME on the first round increase to RAGLAN in each transition between body and sleeves – read description above. Increase to raglan every 2nd round a total of 23-26-27-30-32-35 times on both sides of each marker thread. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! After the last increase there are 288-320-336-364-388-420 stitches on the needle and the piece measures approx. 20-22-23-25-27-29 cm from the cast-on edge mid back. If the measurement is not right continue working, without further increases, to correct length. The next round is worked as follows: Knit 42-46-48-53-58-64 stitches (= half back piece), place the next 60-68-72-76-78-82 stitches on 1 thread for sleeve, cast on 8-8-12-12-14-14 new stitches on the needle (= in side under sleeve), knit 84-92-96-106-116-128 stitches (= front piece), place the next 60-68-72-76-78-82 stitches on 1 thread for sleeve, cast on 8-8-12-12-14-14 new stitches on the needle (= in side under sleeve) and knit the remaining 42-46-48-53-58-64 stitches (= half back piece). Body and sleeves are finished separately. THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE! BODY: = 184-200-216-236-260-284 stitches. Continue with stocking stitch and stripes. When the piece measures 21-21-22-22-22-22 cm from the division knit 1 round where you increase 36-40-40-48-52-56 stitches evenly spaced – remember INCREASE TIP = 220-240-256-284-312-340 stitches. Change to circular needle size 3.5 mm and work rib (= knit 2, purl 2) for 3 cm. Loosely cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl, but to avoid the cast-off edge being tight you can cast off with needle size 4.5 mm. The jumper measures approx. 48-50-52-54-56-58 cm from the shoulder down. SLEEVE: Place the 60-68-72-76-78-82 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on short circular needle/double pointed needles size 4.5 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 8-8-12-12-14-14 stitches cast on under the sleeve = 68-76-84-88-92-96 stitches. Insert 1 marker thread in the middle of the 8-8-12-12-14-14 stitches under the sleeve and start the round here. Work stocking stitch and stripes in the round. When the piece measures 2 cm from the division, decrease 2 stitches mid under sleeve – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 11-4-2½-2-1½-1½ cm a total of 3-6-9-10-11-12 times = 62-64-66-68-70-72 stitches. Continue working until the sleeve measures 33-31-31-29-27-26 cm from the division (shorter measurements in larger sizes due to longer yoke). Knit 1 round where you increase 14-12-14-12-14-12 stitches evenly spaced = 76-76-80-80-84-84 stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 3.5 mm and work rib (= knit 2, purl 2) for 3 cm. Loosely cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl, but to avoid the cast-off edge being tight you can cast off with needle size 4.5 mm. The sleeve measures approx. 36-34-34-32-30-29 cm from the division. Work the other sleeve in the same way. |
