This yarn stretches way to much when it is washed, even when washed correctly and it is not very suitable for a pattern such as this. My jacket is completely ruined after wash. Hours of work and a lot of yarn down the drain. I'm never using this yarn again. Ever!!!

Dear Adrianna, Merino is spun from multiple thin strands to give it extra elasticity, it's then very important to make sure to get the correct tension, rather tight than loose and take care to the washing instructions (don't wash it too warm, never let it soack and let it dry flat) - see shadecard and read more here and contact your DROPS store for more individual tips & advices how to care the yarns.

I really want to make this but although a competant crocheter of many years I have never tackled a chart and the comments above suggest that I am not alone when I look at this and feel daunted. Is there any chance of this pattern being printed as a written pattern or is there a conversion site?
16.04.2016 - 16:31DROPS Design answered:
Dear Linda, there is no written pattern to this diagram, but you can follow the video below and for any further personnal assistance, remember you can contact your DROPS store, even per mal or telephone. Happy crocheting!

Bon crochet!

The graph terms are not clear from all the comments and the tutorial only shows A1 A2 A3 But not how to work 2 A2's or even Turning the work. Have you done the actual Pattern in Stitch terms rather than of graph terms?
28.03.2016 - 21:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Nowlin, after you have worked 1st A.2 in width, start again from the beg of A.2 and repeat the same sts in A.2 as before. Repeat the sts in A.2 in width until you have worked the number of sts stated for your size. When turning, replace 1st dc at beg of every dc row with 3 ch. For any further personnal assistance, you are welcome to contact your DROPS store, even per mail or telephone. Happy crocheting!
