ROUND 4: 8 ch (counted as 1st tr + 5 ch), * 1 dc in next bobble, 5 ch, 1 tr in next dc, 5 ch *, repeat from *-* 3 more times, finish with 1 dc in last bobble, 5 ch, 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 5 dc, 5 tr and 10 ch-loops. ROUND 5: 1 ch, 5 dc in 1st ch-loop, * in next dc work 1 PICOT - read explanation above, 5 dc in next ch-loop, skip next tr, 5 dc in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-* 3 more times, finish with 1 picot in last dc - NOTE! Work 7 ch for strap instead of 3 ch in last picot, 5 dc in last ch-loop, 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 5 picots. Cut and fasten the thread. PENTAGON 2: Work ROUND 1-4 for PENTAGON 1. ROUND 5: 1 ch, 5 dc in 1st ch-loop, * 1 picot in next dc, 5 dc in next ch-loop, skip next tr, 5 dc in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-* 2 more times. In next dc work the picot tog with PENTAGON 1 - READ CROCHET TOG, finish with 5 dc in last ch-loop, 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 5 picots. Cut and fasten the thread. Work 7 more pentagons the same way as PENTAGON 2 - i.e. work the pentagon tog with previous pentagon in 2 picots and with sl sts in the middle, 9 pentagons in total - see chart. Sew 1 button at the top of the last pentagon. |
