I finished the back but am having trouble with the front. The front does not say how many stitches you end up using. Like the back, the first row ends up with 48 dc. Diagram 2 is worked over how many stitches?
04.04.2019 - 14:21DROPS Design answered:
Dear Carol, in 3rd size you decrease for armhole on each side: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 3 times = there were 25 sts - (3+2+3) = 17 sts remain. Happy crocheting!

Goede morgen.

Hi I love this sweater and trying to make it for my granddaughter. I am working on the front using the girls pattern and I am having trouble understanding the directions for the first row, can you kindly provide me some assistance.
31.12.2017 - 21:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Oursler, to avoid 1st row being too tight, you will crochet much more chains than you will need sts on first row, so crochet number of chains for the appropriate size, then on first row, skip sts as explained so that you get 64-72-80-90-100 sts at the end of first row (see size). Happy crocheting!

Just a suggestion. The ladies' photo of this pattern should also be displayed on your ladies' pattern category since there is a pattern for it. I made one a few years ago when I bought an older issue of your knitting magazine and found, to my delight, that you had this top in ladies' sizes also. Tusen Takk. :-)
