Hi. In the instructions for the sleeves, the pattern notes "Continue in pattern and at the same time inc underneath sleeve each side of centre st as follows...". Can you tell me which stitch would be considered the centre stitch?
03.08.2022 - 23:55DROPS Design answered:
Hi Rachel, The stitch mid-under the sleeve is the first stitch on the round. Happy knitting!

If I made this jumper 64 cm long in small/medium how much yarn would I need
10.03.2021 - 10:31DROPS Design answered:
Dear Jane, please understand that we cannot redesign, and / or recalculate patterns and amounts of yarn needed for every request, especially for an old design as this. I, personally would probably get the given amount, and knit something else, like a hat, or a pair of mittens, if there is a ball or two left over. Happy Knitting!

Bon tricot!

Dear Drops Design Thanks for your answer to my question. However, reading through the pattern instructions again, I don’t find where the 2 edge stitches were mentioned? I would use circular needle to sew the sleeve from down up and join the sleeve to the body. Thanks in advsnce
30.11.2020 - 07:52DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Sng-Galster, sleeves are worked in the round, this means there are no edge stitches sorry for previous answer - you can use either a circular needle (short one or long one with magic loop technique) or double pointed needles then short circular needle. Happy knitting!

Rebecca Sng-Galster wrote:
Could I use circular needle for the sleeve to be knitted in round so that there is no need to sew the seam? Or I have to knit flat because of increase ?
27.11.2020 - 22:56DROPS Design answered:
Dear Rebecca, you can use a circular needle to knit without the need of a seam, you'll have to remove the 2 edge stitches in the instructions though.
