06.11.2022 - 21:15DROPS Design answered:
Hei Pauline, Dette betyr at du gjentar mønsteret (A.1) 3 ganger i bredden på omgangen.

Hva er forskjellen i praksis?
14.11.2019 - 14:03DROPS Design answered:
Hei Jeanette.

INFORMATION FOR THE PATTERN: RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked in the round): 1 ridge = 2 rounds. Knit 1 round and purl 1 round. PATTERN: See diagram A.1. Choose diagram for your size. The diagram shows all the rows in the pattern seen from the right side. DECREASE TIP (evenly spaced): To work out how to decrease evenly, count the total number of stitches on the needles (e.g. 42 stitches) and divide by the number of decreases to be made (e.g. 4) = 10.5. In this example, knit together alternately every 9th and 10th stitch and every 10th and 11th stitch. ---------------------------------------------------------- WRIST WARMER: The piece is worked in the round with double pointed needles. Cast on 42-48 stitches with double pointed needles size 3 mm and BabyAlpaca Silk. Work A.1 (= 14-16 stitches – choose diagram for your size) 3 times in width to end of round. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When A.1 has been completed, knit 1 round where you decrease 4-6 stitches evenly on round – read DECREASE TIP (evenly spaced) = 38-42 stitches. Continue in stocking stitch until the piece measures 13-14 cm. Work 2 RIDGES – see description above, then work the first 6 rounds in diagram A.1. Below we describe two different casting off methods. The one is with assembly, the other without. Choose the method which suits you best: CASTING OFF WITHOUT ASSEMBLY: Fold the row of holes (i.e. round 4 in A.1) so that wrong side is towards wrong side and cast off as follows: Place the first stitch from round 1 in A.1 on the left needle, knit together this stitch and the next stitch on the left needle and cast them off. Place the second stitch from round 1 in A.1 on the left needle, knit together this stitch and the next stitch on the left needle and cast them off. Continue like this, knitting together one stitch from round 1 in A.1 and the next stitch on the left needle and casting off. NOTE: To avoid the cast-off edge being tight you can make 1 yarn over after every 4th stitch. The yarn over is cast off as a normal stitch. Work 1 more wrist warmer in the same way. CASTING OFF WITH ASSEMBLY: Cast off, but make sure the cast-off edge is not tight! Fold the row of holes (i.e. round 4 in A.1) to the back of the wrist warmer so that wrong side is to wrong side. Sew each stitch from the cast-off edge to each stitch on the round 1 in A.1. Make sure the seam is not tight! Work 1 more wrist warmer in the same way. |
