I am not giving up on this beautiful jacket pattern. As I have said I have done patterns from diagrams and charts before and though they usually have a lot more detail laid out, I will also figure this pattern out. It really would've been so much easier if there was a written pattern or more visually detailed stitch diagram and I think I speak for many others who also enjoy the beauty of so many gorgeous Drops patterns.Thank you for your quick reply.

I love this jacket pattern and have been struggling to try and write a pattern from the diagram.I am so lost trying to figure out the stitches for A.1, A.2 and A.3. I would really love to crochet beautiful pattern.

Dear Gail, each stitch is represented with 1 symbol in diagram, from RS work 1 time A.1, repeat A.2 over the next sts and finish row with A.3. From WS, start with A.3, repeat A.2 and finish with A.1. Happy crocheting!

The shawl collar instructions do not tell where to start. It is very unclear. I see it is working back and forth, but where are you joined. Is the band worked long ways down the front edge? Is it just the top neck edge? I cannot make sense of what is written because it leaves out the detail of where to join and what direction to work in. Love the design, but little details would make the pattern less of a problem to understand. Thanks.
02.05.2015 - 20:59DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Ream, collar is worked starting with sts along neckline on right front piece (from RS) - the unworked sts from right front piece = shoulder. Happy crocheting!

Bon crochet!
