Sie können anhand der Maschenprobe auf das gewünschte Mass umrechnen.

I can not understand how to reduce the mesh at the end, every two turns, always every 10 stitches? thanks a lot!

Put markers in work as explained. Work in garter, i.e K on next round, P on next and so on. On every K round you K2 tog right after every marker on round.

I am not sure how to increase in the first row of seed stitch and keep to the seed pattern in the second seed stitch row. Clarification: KPKP???? 2nd row PKPKIPKP 1st row (I-increase) KPKP KPKP (ribbing) I was thinking I could increase twice around one stitch (ie K,incease,P,increase,K), then on the next row only three stitches that would be messed up. But in the pattern it indicates to increase evenly on the 1st row. Thank you for clarifying. Michelle

You are only inc on the very first round at the same time as you are establish your seed st. So this is not a problem, you just K,P,K,P and then when inc 1 you K that new st, and then P next, and continue like that. On the round all sts will be K, P, K, P and so on, and no more inc on following rounds, so pattern will continue as established on round 1.

SEED ST: 1st round: * K 1, P 1 *, repeat from *-*. 2nd round: K over P and P over K. Repeat 2nd round. GARTER ST (in the round on circular needle): * P 1 round and K 1 round *, repeat from *-*. -------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Worked in the round on circular needle/double pointed needles. Cast on 110-120 sts on circular needle size 3 mm / US 2or3 with Lima and K 1 round. Then work rib = K 1/P 1. When rib measures 4-4 cm / 1½"-1½", switch to circular needle size 3.5 mm / US 4. Work in SEED ST - see explanation above - while AT THE SAME TIME inc 10-8 sts evenly on 1st round = 120-128 sts. When piece measures 21-22 cm / 8 1/4"-8 3/4'', K 1 round while at the same time dec 30-28 sts evenly = 90-100 sts on round. Switch to double pointed needles and finish piece in GARTER ST - see explanation above - AT THE SAME TIME on first P round insert 9-10 markers 10 sts apart. Then dec as follows on next K round: K 2 tog after every marker - repeat dec on every K round (i.e every other round) until 9-10 sts remain. Cut the yarn and pull it through all sts and tighten tog. Fasten the ends. |
