Hi, regarding the square 1 and the diagram A.1: how should I read it? I start on the WS as it is described in the pattern so should I start with the first row of the diagram: from right to left or from left to right? and next question: the first stitch of the diagram (square with a dot) should be read as: "knit from the wrong side"?

Hi Marta, you start 1st row on the WS as it is described in the pattern. You start with the first row of the diagram: from left to right. In this row, the first stitch of the diagram (square with a dot) should be read as "knit from the wrong side". Please also see the lesson DROPS HERE. Happy knitting!

DROPS 261-1 En oikein ymmärrä miksi tässä pitäisi neuloa pyöröpuikoilla ? Neulotaanko nämä neulalla yhteen vai virkataanko palat yhteen ? Kiitos vastauksesta etukäteen.

Hi Helena, the blanket is knitted in squares, in rows, back and forth. You may make it on straight needles if you wish to. We usually design our current patterns for circular needles, because with them you can work both in the round and back and forth (in rows). Happy knitting!
