Crochet: Tagetes flower

In this DROPS video we show how to work a Tagetes flower. Worked in the round. Ch 5 on hook size 3 mm / C with Safran and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: ch 2 (does not replace 1st hdc), 12 hdc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in first hdc from beg of round.
ROUND 2: ch 1, * 1 sc in next hdc, ch 4, skip 1 hdc *, repeat from *-* 5 more times (= 6 times in total) and finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round = 6 ch-spaces.
ROUND 3: ch 1, * 1 sc in next sc, ch 5 *, repeat from *-* 5 more times (= 6 times in total) and finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round = 6 ch-spaces.
ROUND 4: ch 1, * 1 sc in next sc, ch 6 *, repeat from *-* 5 more times (= 6 times in total) and finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round = 6 ch-spaces.
ROUND 5: ch 1, in every ch-space on 4th round work: 1 sc, 1 PICOT – read explanation above, 1 sc, 1 picot, 1 sc and 1 picot. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round = 18 leaves on round.
ROUND 6: ch 1, then work 1 sl st in first sc on 3rd round, * 1 sc, 1 picot, 1 sc and 1 picot *, move to next space and repeat from *-* the rest of round. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round = 12 leaves on round.
ROUND 7: ch 1, then work 1 sl st in first sc on 2nd round, * 1 sc, 1 picot *, move to next space and repeat from *-* the rest of round. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round = 6 leaves on round. Fasten off.
