Crochet - start
There are two ways to hold the hook:
Knife Method - Hold the hook between your thumb and index finger two inches from the hook end, resting the end of the hook against your palm place the crochet hook in your right hand as you would a knife. Place the thread over your left index finger, down into the hand and keep it in place with the help of your little finger.
Pencil method - Hold the hook in your right hand two inches from the hooked end between your right thumb and index finger and let it rest on your right hand’s index finger.
