50 g color no 47m, light beige mix

50 g color no 54, medium purple

DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm / 32'') size 9 mm /US 13 - or size needed to get 10 sts x 14 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm / 4'' x 4'' (15 sts x 21 rows stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm / 4'' x 4'' after felting).
DROPS CROCHET HOOK size 6 mm / J/10 - for the rose

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in American English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from inches to cm - click here. GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows.

STRIPE PATTERN:
Work stripes in the different colors as follows:
1 round dark blue/purple mix, 2 rounds light beige mix, 2 rounds dark blue/purple mix, 3 rounds beige mix, 8 rounds dark blue/purple mix, 1 round beige mix, 3 rounds light beige mix, 4 rounds dark blue/purple mix, 2 rounds beige mix, 2 rounds dark blue/purple mix, 2 rounds medium purple, 2 rounds dark blue/purple mix, 1 round medium purple, 5 rounds blue/violet, 3 rounds dark blue/purple mix, 5 rounds light beige mix, 2 rounds dark blue/purple mix, 1 round light beige mix, 3 rounds beige mix, 3 rounds dark blue/purple mix, 4 rounds medium purple, 2 rounds dark blue/purple mix, 2 rounds blue/violet, 2 rounds dark blue/purple mix (= a total of 65 rounds).

BAG:
Worked in the round. Cast on 90 sts on circular needle size 9 mm / US 13 with dark blue/purple mix. Continue in stockinette st and work stripes – see above. REMEMBER THE GAUGE! After the last stripe piece measures approx 46 cm / 18'', bind off. Sew the bag tog edge to edge at the bottom.
Shoulder strap: Pick up 8 sts on needle size 9 mm / US 13 with dark blue/purple mix at the top on one side of bag. Work GARTER ST - see above - back and forth for 90 cm / 35½''. Bind off and sew the strap to the other side.

FELTING: Place the bag in the washing machine with a detergent free of enzymes and optical bleach. Wash it warm at 40C/104F with normal spin but no pre-wash. After wash shape the bag while it is still wet and leave to dry flat. At subsequent washed wash the bag at a wool program.

CROCHET ROSE:
Use crochet hook size 6 mm / J/10.
Beg with medium purple Eskimo as follows: Ch 4 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
Round 1: *1 sc in ring, ch 3* repeat from *-* a total of 3 times and finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round = 3 ch spaces.
Round 2: Crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sl st, 5 dc and 1 sl st = 3 leaves. Turn piece – work next round from the back of rose.
Round 3: ch 1, 1 sc round first sc from round 1, ch 4, 1 sc at the bottom of first leaf from round 2, * then ch 4, 1 sc round next sc from round 1, then ch 4, 1 sc at the bottom of next leaf from round 2 *, repeat *-* until there are 5 ch spaces, finish with ch 4 and 1 sl st in first sc on round = 6 ch spaces. Turn piece – work next round from the front of rose. Change to blue/violet.
Round 4: Crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sl st, 6 dc and 1 sl st = 6 leaves. Cut and fasten threads. Sew the rose to the bag after felting.

Garnåtgången på färg nr 39 druvblåmix stämmer inte. Jag har nu gjort åt 150 g och har fortfarande ca 40 cm kvar på axelremmen.

Leider hat die Materialangabe nicht gestimmt. Die Farbe dunkelblau mix war zu wenig angegeben.
