Just started this lovely crown, but I am confused as the vertical tension is only about 9 rows for 10cm and the horizontal tension is about right. I’m doing the US terms double crochet . Can you give me any advice. Thank you.

Dear Avril, if you are working the US-crochet pattern then the crown is worked in single crochet (= US crochet) / double crochet (= UK -crochet). Happy crocheting!

Hoi Tamara. Het model gaat tot 2/4 jaar en wij kunnen geen individuele aanpassingen maken op de patronen. Je kan zelf proberen het model groter te maken met hulp van de stekenverhouding.

The BabyDROPS 16-11 pattern that there is something wrong with the pattern. There is a problem with this pattern, between round 3/4. You say to increase a Dc on the final of round 3 and to start round 4 on the second chain from hook. And that is impossible, because if you do that you do not have 11 dc but end with 10 dc. So anyone who is doing this pattern should ignore this second chain from hook and start on the first one! I hope i helped anyone who is willing to do this pattern.
11.03.2015 - 14:02DROPS Design answered:
Dear Luzia, in this pattern, you increase 1 dc by working 2 ch at the end of row, so at the end of row 3, work 2 ch, turn and start row 4 with 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 dc in each dc = 11 dc at the end of row 4. See also "Increasing tip" at the beg of the pattern. Happy crocheting!
