Can you please clarify /show with video/photograph how to "cast on new chain stitches in each side for armholes". What is the purpose of these stitches and do they show at the end? Because the chain stitches seems to block my ability to "work the treble crochets evenly around outermost treble crochet row along the entire armhole (but not over chain stitches cast on on each side on front and back piece)? Thank you!
23.06.2022 - 10:48DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Simon, before working this row, you cut the yarns. Now you need to increase new stitches on each side of piece, so that you start with chain stitches, then crochet the piece exactly as before (= 1 treble in each treble), and end the row with new chain stitches = you have h=now 3-5-7 or8 chain stitches on each side of the piece. Turn, and work 1 treble in each chain stitch + in each treble + in each chain stitch at the other side of piece, your piece looks like a T with increases on each side = for the armhole on each side. Hope it will help. Happy crocheting!

Following instructions carefully, it looks like there are 4 treble crochets less across the front than across the back(for size L). The back piece after the shoulders are worked specifies 60 treble crochets. The front piece after the shoulders are worked will have only 56 treble stitches across. Is this a mistake? Thank you for a lovely pattern and for your help!

11.10.2021 - 13:51DROPS Design answered:
Dag Greetje,

This pattern states that either yarn weight A+A or C can be used. However it does not give a yarn suggestion for C weight or gram requirements.. I first thought the yardage would simply be half, however with the color combinations I realized this may not be the case. Please provide yarn and gram requirements for C weight yarn. My second question is; If I use C weight yarn would I be able to add a lace weight yarn as a second color for the combining of two colors for a similar effect?
30.01.2020 - 11:35DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Coldiron, this pattern has been worked with 2 yarns group A ( 2 strands Alpaca), but you can work it with only 1 strand yarn group C - use our yarn converter to get amount of new yarn. Note that stripes are worked with 2 strands different colours, with a yarn group C you won't get same kind of stripes. Read more about alternatives here. Happy crocheting!
