After last displacement there are 7 sts between cable in A.1/A.2 and ridges in garter st on sleeve edge. After last displacement continue rib and pattern straight up without dec and inc on each side of cables. AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 26-27-28-29-30-31 cm, insert 1 marker in each side. On next row from RS, inc 1 st in each side for sleeve edge - Read INCREASE TIP 2! When piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm, cast off the middle 16-16-16-20-20-20 sts for neck and finish each shoulder separately. Continue with pattern and rib as before. AT THE SAME TIME cast off 1 st on next row from neck = 43-47-51-53-57-65 sts remain needle. Continue to work until piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm, loosely cast off with K over K and P over P. After last displacement there are 7 sts between cable in A.2 and ridges in garter st on sleeve edge, continue rib and pattern straight up without inc and dec. SLEEVE EDGE: AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 26-27-28-29-30-31 cm, insert 1 marker in the side. Repeat dec every other row 3-3-3-5-5-5 more times (= 4-4-4-6-6-6 times in total) and then every 4th row 5 times in total in all sizes. After all inc and dec, there are 59-63-69-71-77-85 sts on needle. Continue to work until piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm. On next row from WS cast off the outermost 43-47-51-53-57-65 sts on shoulder, K over the 16-16-18-18-20-20 sts in garter st. Then work in garter st back and forth over these sts for collar as follows (beg mid front): * 2 rows over all sts, 2 rows over only the outermost 10-10-12-12-14-14 sts (towards mid front) *, repeat from *-* until collar measures approx. 7-7-7-8-8-8 cm on the most narrow part, cast off. LEFT FRONT PIECE: Cast on and work as right front piece but reversed. I.e. work A.1 (instead A.2). Dec before A.1 as explained in DECREASE TIP 1 and inc before the last P st before band as explained in INCREASE TIP 3. Inc for sleeve edge at beg of every row from RS (instead of end of every row from RS). When piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm, cast off for shoulder at beg of row from RS (instead of WS), K over the 16-16-18-18-20-20 sts in garter st and work short rows over collar sts as on right front piece. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams. Sew collar tog mid back (make sure that seam is not visible when collar is folded down) and sew collar to neckline at the back of neck inside 1 edge st. Sew side seams in one inside 1 edge st from marker at armhole and down. Sew on buttons. |
