Hi Q1Beret row 1- it says to YO P1 - is that meant to increase stitches by 10 in total ? Q2 - row2 - because I m knitting on circular needles in round do I purl that “row” or is it meant to knitted to create stocking st .
13.08.2019 - 04:14DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sharon, on row 1 the yarn overs are the increases. In this pattern (= worked in the round), the odd numbered rows are worked from WS, you have then to adjust these rows if you want to work in the round (they are written as WS rows, ie reversed to the even numbered rows). The even numbered rows are worked from RS = these rows should be worked as in the pattern. Happy knitting!

I just worked it out ! I do 8 stitches instead of 10 = 80 Plus 10 x knit over = 10 Plus the 2 edge stitches = 92 in total !! This pattern is a good challenge !

Hi Can you please advise how many balls of wool this takes
15.06.2019 - 05:10DROPS Design answered:
Hello Sharon. You can find the amount of yarn needed next to the picture. Nepal comes in 50 g skeins, so for the beret you will need 2 skeins and for the neck warmer you will need 2 skeins for size S/M and 3 skeins for size L/XL. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!
