Hei.

Knitted DROPS jumper with raglan and large neck in ”Polaris”. Size: S - XXXL
DROPS 133-34 |

TIP FOR SWITCHING THREADS: When switching ball with Polaris, split the old thread in two on the last 15 cm – cut off one part, do the same on the new thread. Place the first and last 15 cm on top of each other so that the yarn is the normal thickness and continue to work – this is done to make the thread switch invisible in the yarn. GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. RAGLAN: Dec on each side of the 4 markers. Beg 2 sts before marker and work as follows: K 2 tog, marker, slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso. INCREASE TIP (applies to sleeve): Inc 1 st from RS by making 1 YO inside the outermost st. On next row P YO twisted (i.e. work in back loop of YO instead of front) to avoid holes. -------------------------------------------------------- BODY: Worked in the round on circular needle. READ TIP FOR SWITCHING THREADS! Cast on 68-72-76-84-92-100 sts on circular needle size 15 mm with Polaris. Work rib = K 2/P 2 for 8 cm. Continue in stocking st – AT THE SAME TIME on 1st round dec 4 sts evenly = 64-68-72-80-88-96 sts. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 47-49-49-51-51-53 cm, work next round as follows: Cast off the first 4 sts for armhole, work 28-30-32-36-40-44 sts, cast off the next 4 sts for armhole and work the rest of round (= 28-30-32-36-40-44 sts). Put piece aside and knit the sleeves. SLEEVE: Worked back and forth on needle. Cast on 16-16-20-20-20-20 sts on needle size 15 mm with Polaris. Work rib as follows: 1 st in GARTER ST - see explanation above, * K 2, P 2 *, repeat from *-* and finish with K 2 and 1 st in Garter st. When piece measures 10 cm, continue in stocking st over all sts. AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 12 cm, inc 1 st in the one side - READ INCREASE TIP! Work for 4-4-6-6-4-4 cm, then inc 1 st in the other side. Repeat inc in every other side every 4-4-6-6-4-4 cm until a total of 8-8-6-6-8-8 sts have been inc = 24-24-26-26-28-28 sts. When piece measures 44 cm, cast off the first 2 and last 2 sts on needle = 20-20-22-22-24-24 sts, cut the thread. Put piece aside and knit another sleeve. YOKE + NECK: Slip sleeves on to same circular needle as body where armholes were cast off = 96-100-108-116-128-136 sts. Insert 1 marker in all transitions between sleeves and body (= 4 markers). Work in stocking st while at the same time (on 1st round) dec for RAGLAN – see explanation above. Repeat dec every other round a total of 7-7-8-8-9-9 times = 40-44-44-52-56-64 sts. Work 1 round in stocking st while at the same time adjusting no of sts to 44-48-48-48-52-52. Inc by picking up the thread between 2 sts and twisting it before slipping it on the needle. Dec by K 2 sts tog. Then work rib = K 2/P 2 for approx. 15 cm. Cast off with K over K and P over P. ASSEMBLY: Sew sleeve seams edge to edge in front loop of outermost st to avoid a chunky seam. Sew the openings under the sleeves. TIE: Cut 2 threads of approx. 4 metres, twine them tightly tog, fold them double and they will twine again, tie a knot in each end. Baste the thread up and down through the round before rib around the neck - start and finish mid front. Make 2 compact pompoms with a diameter of approx. 6-7 cm. Fasten 1 pompom in each end of the tie. |
