Om jag följer mönstret 8 msk tot. Betyder det 1 rät msk, 2 räta tills, omslag, omslag, 1 lyft msk, 1 rät msk, lyft över den. Eller ska det vara 1 rät mellan omslagen?
15.12.2023 - 15:41DROPS Design answered:
Hei Denise.

Is there a pattern for the top as well?
20.07.2021 - 11:06DROPS Design answered:
Hi Alina, Sadly, there is no pattern for this particular top yet. You can find other tops in the Paris yarn if you search in the pattern box at the top of the page. Hope you can find something you like. Hilsen Drops Team.

Here I am again :-( I finshed the body, but now I can't understand how I could work sleeves with circular needles: 40 stitches are too few to work in circle. I need very little circular needles, but... There aren't. Can I work flat and then sew the sleeves?
29.08.2017 - 12:22DROPS Design answered:
Dear Paola, sleeves are worked on double pointed needles, but you can work them in the round with a longer circular needle (such as 80 cm) using the technique of magic loop, see video here. Happy knitting!

I'm sorry, but I've another question... Is there any tutorial to explain how to change yarn when I finisht he first one? 'Cause in this cardigan it's impossible to change it at the end of a row. Thankyou
18.08.2017 - 09:54DROPS Design answered:
Dear Paola, there are several techniques to change ball - you'll find them listed under the category "good to know" in our videos. Happy knitting!

Hallo!! I can't understand how to realize the button hole. It seems too little, to me, 'cause you said to cast off only a stitch...
05.08.2017 - 13:48DROPS Design answered:
Dear Paola, as knitted fabric is rather elastic the one cast off stitch is usually enough for most buttons. If you are concerned, do a gauge swatch and knit a trial buttonhole in it. If it is really too thight you can cast off two stitch, but make sure you cast on two stitch above, in the next row. Happy Ceafting!

Garter st, back and forth on needle: K all rows. Garter st, in the round: K 1 round, P 1 round. Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS. English translations for the wording in diagrams are given at the bottom of this pattern and they are given in the vertical order in which they appear in the diagram. Buttonholes: Make buttonholes on right front piece when piece measures 24-27-29 cm, 33.5-36.5-39 cm, 43-46.5-49, and 52.5-56.5-59 cm. 1 buttonhole: Cast off 3rd st from mid front and cast on 1 new st on return row. NB! The last buttonhole is on neckline. Body piece: Worked back and forth on circular needle from mid front. Cast on 187-203-219 sts (includes 5 front band sts each side towards mid front) on needle size 5 mm and work 4 rows garter st. Continue in pattern as follows: 5 garter sts (= front band), pattern across the row until 6 sts remain, K1, 5 garter sts (= front band). Continue in pattern like this. Remember the knitting tension! Remember buttonholes on right front band! When piece measures 46-49-52 cm work next row as follows from RS: 47-51-55 sts on front piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 85-93-101 sts on back piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 47-51-55 sts on front piece. Now complete each piece separately. Front piece: = 47-51-55 sts. Cast off to shape the armhole at the side on every other row: 2 sts 1-2-3 times, 1 st 1-2-3 times = 44-45-46 sts. When piece measures 62-66-69 cm cast off to shape the neckline at the beg of every row from mid front: 9-10-10 sts 1 time, 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 3 times. Cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 70-74-77 cm. Back piece: = 85-93-101 sts. Cast off for armhole each side as described for front piece. When piece measures 68-72-75 cm cast off the middle 25-27-27 sts for neck and complete each side separately. Cast off 2 sts on neckline on next row and cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 70-74-77 cm. Sleeve: Cast on 40-40-40 sts on double pointed needles size 5 mm and work 4 rounds garter srt. Continue in pattern, at the same time when piece measures 5 cm inc 2 sts mid under arm on every 4th row for size S, on every 3rd and 4th row alternately for size M/L and on every 3rd round for size XL 21-23-23 times = 82-86-86 sts. Incorporate inc sts in pattern as you go long. When piece measures 46-44-43 cm cast off 4 sts mid under arm and complete piece back and forth on needle. Cast off to shape the sleeve cap each side on every other row: 4-4-3 sts 6-8-9 times and cast off remaining sts, piece measures approx 52 cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx 70-90 sts round neckline on needle size 5 mm and work 4 rows garter st, at the same time after 1 row make 1 buttonhole on the right side in line with the others on front band. Cast off after 4 rows garter st. Set in sleeves and sew on buttons. English explanation to pattern diagram: = K from RS, P from WS = K2 tog = slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso = 1 YO |
