Hello again, The diagram does not make it clear that the first row should be worked from right to left. I started left to right which is why I have the problem.

Dear Sue, Diagrams are most of the time starting from RS (except when stated) - read more about diagrams here. You should have here 3 sts in moss stitch on each side. Happy knitting!

Hello, The hem pattern on the sweater doesn't appear to match at the sides. First row M1 (RS) - (K1,P1,K6, P1,K1,P1) across 199 stitches leaves 4 stitches (18*11=198). To the match the sides should I cast on 201 stitches & add (K1,P1) then follow M1 to give 4 stitches of moss stitch on each side?
16.01.2020 - 12:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sue, repeat the 11 stitches in M.1 a total of 18 times in width = over the first 198 stitches and finish with the first stitch in M.1 = there are now 3 stitches in moss stitch on each side. Happy knitting!

Bonjour Anne Marie!
