Hei igjen.

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- CHAIN STITCH: If you work outermost on the hook the chain stitch will often be too tight; 1 chain stitch should be as long as 1 double/treble/triple-treble crochet is wide. CROCHET INFORMATION: At the beginning of each round of treble crochets work 3 chain stitches, which do not replace the first treble crochet but are in addition. The round finishes with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch at the beginning of the round. At the beginning of each round of double crochets work 1 chain stitch, which does not replace the first double crochet but is in addition. The round finishes with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch at the beginning of the round. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. STRIPES 1: 2 rounds with off-white (+ the 2 rounds already worked = 4 rounds with off-white). 4 rounds with moss green. 2 rounds with forest green. 2 rounds with off-white. 1 round with plum. STRIPES 2: 2 rounds with off-white (+ the 2 rounds already worked = 4 rounds with off-white). 4 rounds with plum 2 rounds with bordeaux. 2 rounds with off-white. 1 round with moss green. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- POT-HOLDER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round, from the middle outwards. The whole piece is worked with stripes and relief-pattern. A round of double crochets and a loop are worked to finish. POT-HOLDER: Work 5 chain stitches with off-white and hook size 4 mm. Form them into a ring with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch. ROUND 1: Work 3 chain stitches – read CHAIN STITCH and CROCHET INFORMATION, then work 16 treble crochets around the chain-stitch ring; finish the round with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch at the beginning of the round. ROUND 2: Work 1 chain stitch, * insert a marker here (between 2 stitches), 1 double crochet in the first/next treble crochet, 2 double crochets in each of the next 2 treble crochets (= 2 stitches increased), 1 double crochet in the next treble crochet *, work from *-* a total of 4 times on the round, finish with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch at the beginning of the round = 24 double crochets. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! There are now 4 markers in the piece. The markers follow your work onwards and are situated before each middle corner stitch (i.e. before each repeat of A.1) – they allow you to keep track of the pattern. Now work PATTERN and STRIPES 1 or STRIPES 2 – read description above, in the round as follows: Work * A.1, A.2, A.3 *, work from *-* a total of 4 times on the round; there are 16 more stitches each time you work 1 round of treble crochets and relief-treble crochets. When the diagrams are finished there are 120 stitches on the round. Work 1 round with the same colour as the previous round as follows: Work 12 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the first stitch on the round (= loop), * work 1 double crochet in each stitch as far as the corner, work 2 double crochets in the corner-stitches *, work from *-* to end of round and finish with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch. Cut and fasten the strand. |
