Op een aantal van de oudere patronen zijn de vertalingen/symbolen nog niet aangepast. Dit wordt lopend gedaan. Ik heb dit nu ook bij deze gedaan. Maar op deze patronen staan ook standaard de Nederlandse verklaring van de symbolen in de teltekening staan onderaan het patroon, in dezelfde verticale volgorde als op de teltekening.

Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows in pattern = 10 x 10 cm Pattern Body: See chart (1 chart = 1 repeat). The pattern is shown from the right side. Pattern Sleeves: * K 4, P 4 *, repeat from *-*. Rib: * K 1, P 1 *. Repeat from *-*. Buttonholes: When the work measures 1 (1-1) cm, 8.5 (9.5-10) cm, 16 (18-19) cm, 24 (26-27.5) cm, 32 (34-36) cm, 39.5 (42.5-45) cm and 47 (51-54) cm, bind off for buttonholes on the right front as follows: Bind off the 5th and 6th sts and cast on 2 new sts over the bound-off sts on the next row. Body: Cast on 242 (258-274) sts (incl. 9 sts at each front edge for buttonbands) on circular needles and knit 3 cm rib. Make buttonholes on the right front (see instructions above). Then knit pattern as follows: 1st row = right side. 1 edge st (which is purled throughout), 8 sts rib (= 9 sts for buttonband), knit pattern until 9 sts remain on the needles, 8 sts rib (start with P 1), P 1 (edge st purled throughout). When the work measures 47 (50-53) cm, knit the next row as follows: 63 (67-71) sts front, bind off 4 sts for armhole, 108 (116-124) sts back, bind off 4 sts for armhole, 63 (67-71) sts front. Knit the rest of each part separately. Front: = 63 (67-71) sts. Bind off for armholes every other row: 3 sts 1 (2-2) times, 2 sts 4 (4-4) times, 1 st 3 (3-4) times, and then 1 st every 4th row 1 (2-3) times. At the same time, when the work measures 48 (52-55) cm, shape neck inside of the 8 outermost sts every other row: dec 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 2 (3-3) times, then dec 1 st every 4th row 7 times, and then dec 1 st every 6th row 3 times. (Dec 2 sts for the neck: purl 3 tog, 1 st: purl 2 tog.) When both the armhole shaping and the neck shaping are finished 25 (24-26) + 9 sts buttonband remain on the needles. When the work measures 70 (74-77) cm, bind off 25 (24-26) sts for the shoulder. Continue to knit the remaining 9 sts (buttonband) for a further 6.5 (7-7) cm - this is the edge for the neck in the back - bind off all sts. Back: = 108 (116-124) sts. Shape armholes as for front = 78 (78-82) sts. When the work measures 68 (72-75) cm, bind off the center 24 (26-26) sts for the neck. Then bind off 2 sts at each neck edge on the next row. Bind off when the work measures 70 (74-77) cm. Sleeves: Cast on 48 (48-48) sts on double pointed needles; join and place a marker at the join. Work in Sleeve Pattern. When the work measures 5 cm, inc 1 st each side of marker 22 (23-24) times: Size S: alternately every 4th and 5th row Sizes M/L + XL: every 4th row = 92 (94-96) sts - knit the increased sts into the Pattern as you go along. When the work measures 44 (43-43) cm, bind off 2 sts each side of marker and knit the rest back and forth on needles. Then bind off for sleeve caps on either side every other row: 3 sts 2 times, 2 sts 5 (3-3) times, dec 1 st 4 (10-11) times, bind off 2 sts 4 (3-3) times, 4 sts 2 times, bind off all sts. The work measures approx. 57 (58-59) cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Sew on the sleeves. Weave together the bands at the center back with and sew the edge to the neck in the back. Sew on the buttons. |
