Is there a need or use circular needles (instead of straight needles) if working back and forth?

Dear Mrs Vaughn, each piece is worked here separately back and forth on circular needle to get enough room for all sts - read more here. Happy knitting!

Buon lavoro!

When piece measures 65-67-69-71-73-75 cm, cast off the middle 20-22-22-22-24-24 sts for neck and finish each shoulder separately. Continue to cast off 1 st on next row from neck = 16-17-18-19-20-23 sts remain on the shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 68-70-72-74-76-78 cm. Work the other shoulder the same way.
