Hi in the pattern you say use Bomull Lin no 03 beige-linen. Then in corrections you say use 03 beige linen, but when I go to order my yarn 03 is not either one of these. In the colour chart at Wool warehouse it is saying light beige. I want the two yarns to go together, so please can you tell me the correct colours that are used in the picture. Thanks Josie
14.11.2016 - 01:15DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Reeve, colour names may be upated depending on new colours added, you can trust the colour number. Remember your DROPS store will help you to choose the colour, even per mail or telephone. Happy crocheting!

I am at row 19-24 it seems so big ( I did s and m ) Is it because as the picture shows it flares and rolls Also did you starch this hat it holds very well in the picture but Mine isn't as 'sturdy' Any ideas Thank you! Love drops
16.07.2016 - 04:49DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Thomas, you first inc on rounds 16, 17 and 18, then work 6 rounds without inc, and then inc again on round 15 and 17. Remember to check and keep correct tension. You can then starch hat if necessary. Happy crocheting!

What stores sell this yarn? How many yards do I need?
02.03.2016 - 02:10DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Gibbons, click here to find a Store in your country - you can also find stores that have these both yarns in stock in your assortment in the shadecard to each yarn. You will find total weight required under tab "materials", ie 150 g Bomull-lin/50 g a ball = 3 balls + 100 g Cotton Viscose/50 g a ball = 2 balls Cotton Viscose. Happy crocheting!

Hi. Is the pattern written for the S/M or M/L? How would I change the size? Thanks
08.07.2015 - 20:26DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs McDonald, pattern is in 2 sizes: S/M (= 52/54 cm head circumference) and M/L (= 56/58 cm head circumference), when there is only 1 number, this apply to both sizes, then you will see number of sts for each size like 35-38 tr= 35 tr in 1st size and 38 tr in 2nd size. Happy crocheting!

Confused by Round 9: 3 ch in first sc, 1 dc back in last sc on previous round, 1 dc in 3rd sc, 1 dc back in second sc, 1 dc in fifth sc, 1 dc back in fourth sc, continue like this and end round with a sl st in the 3rd ch in beg of round (= cross-dc's). Is there a video for this stitch? If not, would you explain "dc back in last sc on previous round?" Thank you.
09.06.2015 - 15:34DROPS Design answered:
Dear Julia, you will cross the sts, ie first skip 1 sc and work 1 dc in next st, then work 1 dc in the st you just skipped - see also video below. Happy crocheting!

Instructions state DROPS crochet hook size 4 mm [US G/6] - or size needed to obtain 13 tr x 6.5 rows with 1 thread of each quality = 10 x 10 cm [4’’ x 4’’]. The pattern does not call for any tr stitches. Should this be 13 dc x 6.5 rows to obtain proper guage?
01.06.2015 - 19:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Julia, you are correct, it was supposed to be 13 dc, pattern has been edited thank you, happy crocheting!
