I am knitting Drops 33-6 Muskat. M.1 has 51 sts.. M.2 has 41 sts. M.3 has 41 sts. Plus 3 moss sts. And 5 sockinnet on each end equals 149 sts. For cast on which is correct. M.4 has 33 sts which makes me way over. Not including M.5 Can you explain how to do set up panels on 149 stitches.
27.05.2020 - 05:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Kerner, in the 2nd size you have 149 sts and work: 3 moss sts, 5 st st, M.2 (= 41 sts), M.1 (= 51 sts), M.3 (= 41 sts), 5 st st, 3 moss sts = 3+5+41+51+41+5+3= 149 sts. The larger size do not use M.4 nor M.5 which are applying only in the first size. Happy knitting!

And I go with Alana – it all is pretty confusing, since I also do not know how to knit the odd-numbered rows? Once again my question in English: something seems to be wrong with the pattern in size S/M (at least in my opinion). Three stitches are missing in the calculation, right? Regards, Yvonne

Hi, can someone please sort out the pattern graphs - particularly this one. For example, while row 1 sets the pattern, rows 2, 4, 6 & 8 should be mainly purl, yet its displayed as knit with a few purl stitches. Its all very confusing & difficult enough considering the non-English pattern stitch description. Thankyou
