I’m struggling with size small getting the pattern started on the back. “Work the 1st 2 stitches as 1st stitch in A.4,work A.4 until 3 stitches remain and work the last 3 stitches as the first stitch in A.4. How do I knit 2 stitches as 1st and 3stitches as 1st stitch? I get too many stitches on the needle.
13.05.2024 - 11:11DROPS Design answered:
Dear Holly, repeat 2 times the first stitch in A.4 = work these 2 stitches in garter stitch, just as the first stitch in diagram, and finish with 3 sts in garter stitch = just as the first stitch in diagram is worked. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!
