Hei, Kan denne genseren strikkes i kid silk? Takk for hjelpen!
20.03.2022 - 22:14DROPS Design answered:

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE TIP (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase evenly, count the total number of stitches on the needle (e.g. 88 stitches) and divide by the number of increases to be made (e.g. 16) = 5.5. In this example, increase by making 1 yarn over after alternately each 5th and 6th stitch. On the next round work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. RAGLAN: Increase 1 stitch on both sides of the 4 markers (= 8 increased stitches on the round): Work until there is 1 stitch left before the marker, make 1 yarn over, knit 2 (the marker sits between these 2 stitches), 1 yarn over. On the next round knit the yarn twisted overs to avoid holes. Then work the new stitches in stocking stitch. DECREASE TIP (for sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on either side of the marker thread as follows: Work until there are 2 stitches left before the marker thread, slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch, marker thread, knit 2 together (2 stitches decreased). CASTING-OFF TIP: To avoid the cast-off edge being tight you can cast off with a larger size needle. If the edge is still tight, make 1 yarn over after approx. each 4th stitch at the same time as casting off; the yarn overs are cast off as normal stitches. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The neck and yoke are worked in the round with circular needle, top down. The yoke is divided for body and sleeves and the body is continued in the round with circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round with double pointed needles. NECK: Cast on 88-92-96-100-104-108 stitches with short circular needle size 2.5 mm and DROPS Baby Merino. Knit 1 round. Then work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2) for 3 cm. Knit 1 round where you increase 16 stitches evenly spaced in all sizes – read INCREASE TIP = 104-108-112-116-120-124 stitches. YOKE: Change to circular needle size 3 mm. Insert 1 marker thread at the beginning of the round = mid-back; allow the marker thread to follow your work onwards. Insert 4 markers, without working the stitches; these markers are used when increasing to raglan. Count 19-20-21-22-23-24 stitches, insert 1 marker before the next stitch, count 14 stitches (= sleeve), insert 1 marker before the next stitch, count 38-40-42-44-46-48 stitches (= front piece), insert 1 marker before the next stitch, count 14 stitches (= sleeve), insert 1 marker before the next stitch. There are 19-20-21-22-23-24 stitches left after the last marker. Work stocking stitch and begin to increase to RAGLAN – read description above. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Increase like this every 2nd round a total of 18-19-20-22-23-24 times = 248-260-272-292-304-316 stitches. Work until the piece measures 14-15-16-17-18-19 cm from after the neck edge. Now divide for the body and sleeves on the next round as follows: Knit 35-38-40-43-45-47 (= half back piece), place the next 54-54-56-60-62-64 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 6 stitches (= in side under sleeve), knit 70-76-80-86-90-94 stitches (= front piece), place the next 54-54-56-60-62-64 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 6 stitches (= in side under sleeve), knit 35-38-40-43-45-47 stitches (= half back piece). The body and sleeves are finished separately. THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE! BODY: = 152-164-172-184-192-200 stitches. Work stocking stitch in the round for 16-19-22-24-27-30 cm (approx. 3-3-3-4-4-4 cm left to finished length; try the jumper on and work to desired length). Knit 1 round where you increase 12 stitches evenly spaced = 164-176-184-196-204-212 stitches. Change to circular needle size 2,5 mm. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 3-3-3-4-4-4 cm. Loosely cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl - read CASTING-OFF TIP. The jumper measures approx. 36-40-44-48-52-56 cm from the shoulder down. SLEEVES: Place the 54-54-56-60-62-64 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on double pointed needles 3 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 6 stitches cast on under the sleeve = 60-60-62-66-68-70 stitches. Insert a marker thread in the middle of the 6 cast-on stitches. Allow the thread to follow your work onwards; it will be used when decreasing under the sleeve. Start at the marker thread and work stocking stitch in the round for 3 cm. Now decrease 2 stitches under the sleeve - read DECREASE TIP. Repeat the decrease every 2-2½-3-3½-4-4½ cm a total of 8 times = 44-44-46-50-52-54 stitches. Work until the sleeve measures 20-24-27-31-34-38 cm from the division (approx. 3-3-3-4-4-4 cm left to finished length; try the jumper on and work to desired length). Knit 1 round where you increase 4-8-6-6-4-6 stitches evenly spaced = 48-52-52-56-56-60 stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 2.5 mm. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 3-3-3-4-4-4 cm. Loosely cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl - remember CASTING-OFF TIP. The sleeve measures approx. 23-27-30-35-38-42 cm. Work the other sleeve in the same way. |
