COLOURS: LEMON: CAST ON + ROUND 1: White ROUNDS 2-5: Vanilla ROUND 6: White ROUND 7: Strong yellow WATERMELON: CAST ON + ROUNDS 1 to 5: Raspberry ROUND 6: Off white ROUND 7: Opal green KIWI: CAST ON + ROUND 1: Off white ROUND 2: Brown ROUNDS 3-6: Pistachio ROUND 7: Moss green ---------------------------------------------------------- LEMON: The piece is crocheted in the round from the middle and outwards. Thereafter embroider long white stripes. Chain 4 on hook size 4 mm with white and form a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. Then work pattern in the round according to diagram A.1b 2 times in total on round - diagram A.1a shows how rounds begin and end and is worked in addition to A.1b - read COLOUR above. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When entire diagram A.1a and A.1b have been worked, lemon measures approx. 11 cm in diameter. Fasten off. Embroider stripes with white as follows: Make these stitches in one half treble crochet on first round, around one half treble crochet on 5th round and down through same half treble crochet, * sew up in approx. alternately every and every other half treble crochet on first round, skip 7 half treble crochets on 5th round, sew around next half treble crochet and down through same half treble crochet *, repeat from *-* until 6 long stripes have been made, fasten off. ---------------------------------------------------------- WATERMELON: The piece is crocheted in the round from the middle and outwards. Thereafter embroider the stones. Chain 4 on hook size 4 mm with raspberry and form a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. Then work pattern in the round according to diagram A.1b 2 times in total on round - diagram A.1a shows how rounds begin and end and is worked in addition to A.1b - read COLOUR above. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When entire diagram A.1a and A.1b have been worked, watermelon measures approx. 11 cm in diameter. Fasten off. Embroider 5 stones with chain stitches and some left-over black, embroider these evenly on 2nd round, i.e. on a round with double crochet. ---------------------------------------------------------- KIWI: The piece is crocheted in the round from the middle and outwards. Thereafter embroider the brown stitches. Work 4 chain stitches on hook size 4 mm with off white and form 1 ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. Then work pattern in the round according to diagram A.1b 2 times in total on round - diagram A.1a shows how rounds begin and end and is worked in addition to A.1b - read COLOUR above. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When entire diagram A.1a and A.1b have been worked, kiwi measures approx. 11 cm in diameter. Fasten off. Embroider 10 stitches with brown - make these stitches around 3rd round with 3 half treble crochets between every stitch. Fasten off. |
