How to crochet the kiwi coaster in DROPS Extra 0-1385
This coaster is crocheted in DROPS Paris, but in the video we use DROPS Snow.

I have followed this pattern using the same yarn and a UK hook size 4mm but my coaster measures 13cm across and looks too big. I thought about using a smaller hook but its already quite difficult using a 4mm on a yarn that recommends a 5mm! I am also quite a tight crocheter! Any help would really be appreciated please. Dear Emma, it seems to be an issue with the gauge; the stitches have been worked too loosely and the work is bigger than the one in the pattern. You could replace the rows with half-treble/ half-double crochets in the last row of A.1 and work double crochets/ single crochets, so that the work is slightly smaller. Happy crochetting!
