Knitting Tension: 13 sts x 15 rows in stocking sts with Vienna = 10 x 10 cm. Garter sts: Knit back and forth on all rows. Back piece : Knit back and forth on row! Cast on 67-71-77-84-92-101 sts (incl. 1 edge st each side) on needles size 7mm with Snow. Continue with Vienna (Only the casting on edge is in Snow). P the first row from the WS and P 1 row from the RS. Remember the knitting tension! Continue in stocking sts. At the same time when the piece measures 10 cm, cast off 1 st each side on every 14-14-14-15-15-15cm a total of 4 times = 59-63-69-76-84-93 sts. When the piece measures 57-58-59-60-61-62 cm cast off 3 sts each side for the arm holes. Continue to cast off for the armholes on every other row as follows: 2 sts 1-1-2-3-4-5 times and 1 st 0-2-2-3-4-6 times = 49-49-51-52-54-55 sts. When the piece measures 74-76-78-80-82-84 cm cast off the mid 19-19-21-22-22-23 sts for the neck. On the next row cast off 1 towards the neck = 14-14-14-14-15-15 sts left for each shoulder. Cast off when the piece measures 76-78-80-82-84-86 cm. Front piece: Knit back and forth on row. Cast on 23-25-27-30-34-38 sts (incl. 1 edge st each side) on needles size 7mm with Snow. Continue with Vienna (only the casting on edge is knitted in Snow) Knit Rib = K3/ P4 with 1 edge st each side until the piece measures 4 cm. Then dec. all 4P parts to 3P = 38-38-38-44-44-44 sts. Continue the Rib until the piece measures 14 cm. Knit 2 rows of garter sts. Then continue in stocking sts. At the same time when the piece measures 15 cm inc. 1 st each side on every 9-5½-4-4-3-2 cm a total of 4-6-8-8-9-11 times = 46-50-54-60-62-66 sts. When the piece measures 47-47-47-46-44-41 cm cast off 3 sts each side for the sleeve cap. Then cast off each side on every other row as follows: 2 sts1-2-2-2-3-3 times and 1 st 2-2-2-2-3-6 times. Continue to cast off 2 sts each side until the piece measures 53-54-54-55-55-56 cm. Then cast off 3 sts each side 1 times. Cast off remaining sts when the piece measures approx. 55-56-56-57-57-58 cm. Assembly: Sew the shoulder seams. Rib edge around the jacket: Pick up 225-231-237-237-243-249 sts with circular needle size 7 mm with Vienna (divisible with 6 + 3) up along the right front edge, back at the nape of the neck and down along the left front edge inside 1 edge st. K 1 row from the WS. Contunie the next row as follows: 3 garter sts, * K3, P3 * repeat from *-* and finish with K3 and 3 garter sts. Knit until the Rib measures 15 cm – making sure the next row is knitted from the RS- Now inc. all 3 P parts to 4P. Knit the next row as follows: Put the outer most 42-42-42-48-48-48 sts each side on a thread or a stitch holder. Continue to knit at the same time put 6 more sts each side on the thread or stitch holder on every other row a total of 6-6-6-8-8-8 times (knit 6 sts less each side on every other row). After 78-78-78-96-96-96 sts each side has been put on the thread or the stitch holder put all sts back on needle. Cast off using Snow with K over K and P over P. The collar measures approx. 23-23-23-26-26-26 cm at the nape of the neck. Sew the side and the sleeve seams. |
