Does this pattern come with written instructions as I don’t do diagrams well. I also want to enlarge the pattern just to make it more difficult to use a diagram

Bon tricot!

Rib: * K2 into back of loop, P1 *, repeat from *-*. Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS. English translations for the wording in diagrams are given at the bottom of this pattern and they are given in the vertical order in which they appear in the diagram. Knitting tip: If your knitting tension doesn’t fit, i.e. is too tight, the raglan will be too short and the armhole too small. You may compensate for this by working 1 extra round without dec at regular intervals between the dec. Body piece: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 159-165 sts on needle size 3 mm and work 8 cm rib. Change to needle size 5 mm and continue in pattern – see diagram - at the same time inc 15 sts evenly on first round = 174-180 sts. When piece measures 25-26 cm cast off 6 sts each side for armhole. Put piece aside and knit the sleeves. Sleeve: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 28-30 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm and work 8 cm rib. Change to needle size 5 mm and continue in pattern, at the same time inc 2 sts mid under arm on every other round 19-21 times. When piece measures 34-35 cm (adjust to the same pattern row as body piece) cast off 6 sts mid under arm. Put piece aside and knit the other sleeve. Yoke: Slip sleeves on the same circular needle as body piece where cast off for armholes = 282-300 sts. Insert a marker in all transitions between body piece and sleeves (= 4 markers). Continue in the round and cast off by all 4 markers on every other round as follows: K2 tog, slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso. Continue dec like this until there are 154-164 sts on round. Now continue as follows: * K1 round, P 1 round * for 14 cm and work next round as follows: * K2, K2 tog “. Work 5 rounds, K1 round/ P1 round, at the same time dec 35-39 sts evenly on last round = approx 81-84 sts. . Neck: Slip sts from body piece on needle size 3 mm and work 10 cm rib back and forth on needle with opening on the left side, cast off. Assembly: Sew openings under arms. Crochet 4 buttonhole loops on neckline on front piece and sew buttons on neckline at the back. Now fold neckline towards the jumper and fasten. English explanation to pattern diagram: 1 rapport = 1 repeat, 6 sts = K1 = P1 |
