Bon tricot!

Rib: * K2, P2 *, repeat from *-* Pattern: See diagram. The pattern is seen from the RS. English translations for the wording in diagrams are given at the bottom of this pattern and they are given in the vertical order in which they appear in the diagram. Decreasing tip, cables A and B: Reduce no of sts from 4 to 2 before dec over cable, i.e. K2 tog twice and then dec for armhole and neckline as described in pattern. Body piece: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 308-324-340 sts on circular needle size 3 mm with orange and work 3 rounds rib – see above. P 1 round, at the same time inc 2 sts evenly = 310-326-342 sts. Change to needle size 3.5 mm and continue in pattern as follows, beg at the side: 4-8-12 sts of M.2, 7 repeats of M.1 across the row, 8-16-24 sts of M.2, 7 repeats of M.1 across the row, 4-8-12 sts of M.2. Continue in pattern like this. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 12 cm change to gold-green and work 2 cm, change to rust. When piece measures 31-31-32 cm work next round as follows: cast off 3 sts for armhole, 149-157-165 sts on front piece, cast off 6 sts for armhole, 149-157-165 sts on back piece, cast off 3 sts for armhole. Now complete each piece separately. Front piece: = 149-157-165 sts. Cast off for armhole each side on every other row: 3 sts 1-2-2 times, 2 sts 2-3-3 times and 1 st 3-2-3 times, then on every 4th row: 1 st 2 times = 117-117-127 sts (remember to dec over cable A and B before dec for armhole, see above, actual no of dec sts = 16-20-19). When piece measures 49-50-51 cm cast off the middle 37-39-39 sts for neck (remember to dec over cable A and B, see above, actual no of dec sts = 49-51-51) and complete each side separately. Cast off to shape the neckline at the beg of every row from mid front: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 3 times. Cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 55-56-57 cm. Back piece: = 149-157-165 sts. Cast off for armhole each side as described for front piece = 117-117-127 sts. When piece measures 53-54-55 cm cast off the middle 51-53-53 sts for neck (remember to dec over cable A and B, see above, actual no of dec sts = 63-65-65) and cast off on neckline on every other row: 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 1 time. Cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 55-56-57 cm. Sleeves: Cast on 52-52-56 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm with orange and work 3 rounds rib. P 1 round. Change to needle size 3.5 mm and continue in M.2. At the same time when piece measures 3 cm inc 2 sts mid under arm on every 4th round for size S/M and on every 3rd and 4th round alternately for size M/L + XL a total of 29-30-32 times = 110-116-116 sts. When piece measures 10 cm change to gold-green and work 2 cm, change to rust. When piece measures 46-44-44 cm cast off 6 sts mid under arm and complete piece back and forth on needle. Cast off for sleeve cap each side on every other row: 3 sts 2 times, 2 sts 11-13-13 times, 3 sts 2 times and cast off remaining sts. Piece measures approx 55-56-56 cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx 120-128 sts (divisible by 4) round neckline on double pointed needle size 3 mm with rust , P 1 round and then work 1.5 cm rib, cast off. Set in sleeves. |
