Bon crochet!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagram A.1. CHAIN STITCH: If you work outermost on the hook the chain stitch will often be too tight; 1 chain stitch should be as long as 1 treble crochet is wide. CROCHET-TIP: If the piece is worked with 2 strands of Delight, try to adapt the 2 strands so that they have light sections on approximately the same place. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- BLANKET – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round, from the middle outwards.. BLANKET: Use hook size 5 mm and 1 strand of Big Delight or 2 strands of Delight. Read CROCHET-TIP and CHAIN STITCH in explanations above. Work pattern according to diagram A.1. NOTE! As shown in the diagram, it is only the first 2 rounds which are crocheted together to finish; the other rounds are worked onwards in a spiral. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When the diagram has been completed repeat the last round onwards, continuing to increase as before. Every round there will be 2 more chain-spaces and 4 more treble crochets on each of the 4 sides (= between the treble-crochet groups in each corner). Continue working until the blanket measures approx. 138 cm along each side – finish the round with 1 slip stitch in the first treble in the treble-crochet group in the first corner of the round. Cut and fasten the strand. |
