Bon tricot!

I read the pattern, but I'm confused. Do you have pictures, diagrams or video that show how to do the Little Knight baby hat? My problem is with the pick up st. No with the technique but where to do it.
20.10.2016 - 21:19DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mabel, you are working here from top down starting with the straight piece on the top of head. When this piece is worked, cut the thread and leave sts on needle, then pick up sts along right side of piece (seen from RS), work the sts on needle (top of head = will be now back of head) and pick up sts along left side of piece. Work now back and forth over all sts. Happy knitting!

Tusind talk for gratis opskrifter 👍

20.10.2015 - 17:59DROPS Design answered:
Ja, Sie stricken in Rd und Sie stricken das Muster dann entsprechend folgerichtig weiter, also mit 3 M re und 4 M li, dann mit 3 M re und 5 M li usw., die zugenommenen M werden also einfach weiter li gestrickt.

GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. ------------------------------------------------------------ BONNET / BALACLAVA: Worked from top down, back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 29-29-35 (35-41) sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on circular needle size 3 mm with Alpaca. Work first row as follows from RS: 1 edge st in garter st – SEE ABOVE, * K3, P3 *, repeat from *-* and finish with K3 and 1 edge st in garter st. Continue like this until piece measures approx 11-12-13 (14-16) cm. Now cast off 1 edge st each side = 27-27-33 (33-39) sts, cut the thread. Pick up sts as follows from RS inside 1 edge st: 25-31-31 (37-43) sts along the right side of piece (as seen with cast on row towards you), work the 27-27-33 (33-39) sts on needle (in rib as before) and pick up 25-31-31 (37-43) sts inside 1 edge st along the left side of piece = 77-89-95 (107-125) sts. Continue back and forth on circular needle as follows from WS: 1 edge st in garter st, *P3, K3 *, repeat from *-* and finish with P3 and 1 edge st. From RS: 1 edge st, * K3, P3 *, repeat from *-*, and finish with K3 and 1 edge st in garter st. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 11-12-13 (14-15) cm (from where new sts were cast on) cast on 13-13-13 (19-19) sts at the end of next row from RS = 90-102-108 (126-144) sts. NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE! Continue in rib, K3/P3, in the round. When piece measures 3-4-5 (5-6) cm inc 1 st in each P-section by working 2 sts in the first P st. Repeat the inc in the first and last P st alternately in each P-section on every 3-3-3 (5-5) round a total of 6-6-6 (5-5) times = 180-204-216 (231-264) sts. When piece measures approx 11-12-13 (14-15) cm cast off in rib. CROCHET BORDER: Crochet a border round the opening with crochet hook size 3 mm as follows: *1 dc, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 sl st in first dc. |
