Hei, prøvelappen min får 16 masker i bredden per 10 cm.

Mvh DROPS Design

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE TIP (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase evenly, count the total number of stitches on the needle (e.g. 48 stitches) and divide by the number of increases to be made (e.g. 6) = 8. In this example, increase by making 1 yarn over after each 8th stitch. On the next round work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. RAGLAN: Increase 2 stitches by each marker as follows: Work until there is 1 stitch left before the marker, 1 yarn over, knit 2 (marker sits between these 2 stitches), 1 yarn over. Increase like this at each marker (= 8 stitches increased). NOTE: At the beginning of the round increase 1 stitch after the first stitch and at the end of the round increase 1 stitch before the last stitch. On the next round knit the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes: DECREASE TIP (for sleeves): Decrease 2 stitches under the sleeve as follows: Start 3 stitches before the marker thread, slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch, knit 2 (marker thread sits between these 2 stitches), knit 2 together (2 stitches decreased). CASTING-OFF TIP: To avoid the cast-off edge being tight you can cast off with a larger size needle. If the edge is still tight, make 1 yarn over after approx. each 4th stitch at the same time as casting off; the yarn overs are cast off as normal stitches. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The neck and yoke are worked in the round with double pointed needles/circular needle, top down. The yoke is divided for body and sleeves and the body is continued in the round with circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round, with double pointed needles, top down. DOUBLE NECK: Cast on 48-52-52-56-56-60 stitches with double pointed needles/short circular needle size 6 mm and DROPS Melody. Knit 1 round. Change to double pointed needles/circular needle size 5 mm and work rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 8 cm. The neck is folded double later. Knit 1 round where you increase 6-4-4-2-8-6 stitches evenly spaced – read INCREASE TIP = 54-56-56-58-64-66 stitches. Change to circular needle size 6 mm. Insert 1 marker here – THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE! YOKE: Insert 4 more markers, without working the stitches, as follows: Insert marker 1 at the beginning of the round (= in the transition between sleeve and back piece), insert marker 2 after 19-20-20-21-22-23 stitches (= back piece), insert marker 3 after 8-8-8-8-10-10 more stitches (= sleeve), insert marker 4 after 19-20-20-21-22-23 more stitches (= front piece); there are 8-8-8-8-10-10 stitches left after marker 4 (= sleeve). Knit 1 round and increase 2 stitches at each marker – read RAGLAN. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Continue with stocking stitch and increase to raglan every 2nd round a total of 11-12-13-14-15-16 times. After the last increase there are 142-152-160-170-184-194 stitches and the piece measures approx. 13-14-16-17-18-19 cm from the marker on the neck. Continue with stocking stitch, without further increases, until the piece measures 14-15-16-17-18-19 cm from the marker. On the next round, divide for the body and sleeves as follows: Knit 41-44-46-49-52-55 (= back piece), place the next 30-32-34-36-40-42 stitches on a thread (= sleeve), cast on 4 stitches (= in side under sleeve), knit 41-44-46-49-52-55 (= front piece), place the next 30-32-34-36-40-42 stitches on a thread (= sleeve), cast on 4 stitches (= in side under sleeve). The body and sleeves are finished separately. THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE! BODY: There are now 90-96-100-106-112-118 stitches on needle. Continue in the round with stocking stitch until the piece measures 12-14-17-19-22-25 cm from the division. Knit 1 round where you increase 10-8-8-10-12-14 stitches evenly spaced = 100-104-108-116-124-132 stitches. Change to circular needle size 5 mm and work rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 4 cm. Loosely cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl – read CASTING-OFF TIP. The jumper measures approx. 33-36-40-44-48-52 cm from the shoulder down. SLEEVES: Place the 30-32-34-36-40-42 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on double pointed needles size 6 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 4 stitches cast on under the sleeve = 34-36-38-40-44-46 stitches. Insert a marker thread in the middle of the 4 stitches under the sleeve. Start at the marker thread and work stocking stitch in the round until the sleeve measures 3 cm from the division. Now decrease 2 stitches under the sleeve – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 3½-3½-6-6-6½-6 cm a total of 3-4-3-4-4-5 times = 28-28-32-32-36-36 stitches. Work until the sleeve measures 14-19-23-26-30-34 cm from the division. Change to double pointed needles size 5 mm and work rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 4 cm. Loosely cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl. Work the other sleeve in the same way. ASSEMBLY: Fold the neck double to the inside and sew down. To avoid the neck being tight and rolling outwards, it is important that the seam is elastic. |
