19.12.2013 - 20:58DROPS Design answered:
Hei Johanna.

26.02.2013 - 08:40Brita answered:
136 m innehåller m 1 17 ggr. Varje M1 minskas 4 m = 68 m mindre. 136m - 68 m = 68 m.

PATTERN: See diagram M.1 to M.4. Diagrams M.2 to M.4 are worked in stocking st. HEEL DECREASE: 1st row (= RS): Work until 7-7-8-8 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso, turn piece. 2nd row (= WS): Work until 7-7-8-8 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to P, P 1, psso, turn piece. 3rd row (= RS): Work until 6-6-7-7 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso, turn piece. 4th row (= WS): Work until 6-6-7-7sts remain, slip 1 st as if to P, P 1, psso, turn piece. Continue dec like this with 1 less st before each dec until there are 12-14-14-14 sts on needle. ---------------------------------------------------------- SOCK: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. WITH RUFFLED EDGE: Cast on 128-128-136-136 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with off white. Work diagram M.1, after diagram M.1 there are 64-64-68-68 sts on needle, continue with rib = K 2/P 2 for 2 cm. WITH RIB EDGE: Cast on 64-64-68-68 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with off white. Work in rib = K 2/P 2 for 4 cm. ALL SOCKS: Switch to double pointed needles size 3.5 mm, and work 1 round in stocking st while at the same time dec 4-4-8-8 sts evenly = 60 sts. Continue with diagram M.2, then diagram M.3. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When diagram M.3 has been worked, 56 sts remain on needle. Continue with diagram M.4, AT THE SAME TIME on 1st round of diagram M.4, dec 8-4-0-0 sts evenly = 48-52-56-56 sts. When diagram M.4 has been worked, piece measures approx. 22 cm. Work sock with dark brown mix until finished. Work until piece measures 23-24-25-26 cm. On next round, keep the first 12-13-14-14 sts on needle for heel, slip the next 24-26-28-28 sts on a stitch holder (= mid upper foot) and keep the last 12-13-14-14 sts on needle for heel. Continue in stocking st back and forth over the 24-26-28-28 heel sts for 5-5½-6-6½ cm. Insert a marker in middle of piece. Then work HEEL DECREASE - see explanation above! After heel dec, knit up 11-12-13-14 sts along each side of heel and slip the 24-26-28-28 sts from stitch holder back on needle = 58-64-68-70 sts. Insert a marker on each side of the middle 24-26-28-28 sts on upper foot. Continue in stocking st in the round while AT THE SAME TIME dec in each side as follows: K tog the last 2 sts BEFORE first marker on mid upper foot twisted (i.e. work in the back loop of st instead of front) and K tog the first 2 sts AFTER last marker on upper foot. Repeat dec every other round a total of 7-8-8-7 times = 44-48-52-56 sts. Continue until piece measures 18-20-22-25 cm from marker on heel (= approx. 4-4-5-5 cm remain). Insert a marker in each side so that there are 22-24-26-28 sts on upper foot and 22-24-26-28 sts under foot. Continue working stocking st while AT THE SAME TIME dec for toes on each side of both markers as follows: BEFORE marker: K 2 tog. AFTER marker: K 2 twisted tog (i.e. work in back loop of st instead of front). Repeat dec on every other round a total of 4-4-5-5 times and then on every round a total of 5-6-6-7 times = 8 sts remain on needle. Cut the thread and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. |
