Bon tricot!

"Note: Due to the shirred pattern on yoke, this design must be worked with 2 strands as said in pattern, and not be replaced with 1 strand as shown in the yarn alternatives." Does this mean the shirred pattern should be worked entirely in 2 strands of alpaca? Or should I change between 1 and 2 strands according to the pattern?
04.01.2017 - 12:35DROPS Design answered:
Dear Alison, body and sleeves are worked with 2 strands Alpaca held together, but to keep the shirred pattern, you cannot replace the 2 strands Alpaca (yarn group A) with 1 strand yarn group C so that you will work shirred pattern with 1/2 strands of yarn as explained. Happy knitting!

Buongiorno.

Bzw. die von Drops for you 5. Vielen Dank und viele Grüße
14.02.2015 - 17:30DROPS Design answered:

Hello I have a question abaout garter st. Does K1 round, P1 round means together 1 round of garter st? Is the garter st after piece measures 38-39... cm done only under armhole? Thank you Spela Is 1 round of garter st means that I have to do K 1 round, P1round
13.02.2015 - 08:45DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Spela, when you have to work 6 rounds in garter st, work alternately K1 round/P1 round until you get a total of 3 ridges. The 4 rounds garter st (= 2 ridges) worked after 38-43 cm (see size) is worked only on the 14 sts each side (= 7 sts each side of each marker) ie under both armholes. Happy knintting!
